Ohh, What an unforgettable experience we had in Acanto! This pace deserves 10 stars. A very unique, elegant and peaceful boutique hotel located heart of Playa del Carmen, literally walk out the door, turn left and boom you are on Avenida 5, safe place. Lots of restaurants, shops, market, seven eleven, anything you want. And let’s not forget the beach, literally 5-10 min walk. Staff are super kind, helpful and friendly, Miguel, Laura, Alliasar (not sure if I’m spelling his name right). They help you with anything you need. Shout out to Miguel, he goes above and beyond to help you and make sure you have comfort stay. He prepares the delicious breakfast every morning and makes sure you got everything. Breakfast is continental with lots of yumminess such as toast, boiled eggs, coffee, cheese, butter, jam, honey, pastry, fruits such as banana, apples, oranges, fresh cut pineapples and mangos. Cutest outdoor surrounded with gorgeous Palm Tees and lively mellow music plays at night. So relaxing if you just want to sit on outdoor chair patio and enjoy the mellow music and stay away from hustle and bustle of 5th Ave. We did that couple of nights, very peaceful. The rooms are spacious and cozy. Rooms have big refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, microwave, utensils, dishes like cups, plates and bowls, sink to wash dishes, AC and strong WiFi. They also have elevator. Front desk also provides beach towels which is great. Pool we never used water was a bit cold for us and deep however the view adds up to a gorgeous view from your patio/balcony, wherever your room is. Can’t say enough of good things about this place and the lovely staff, will defiantly come back and stay here again!

We absolutely loved our recent stay here. We stayed for 12 nights in a superior 3 bedroom apartment which was extremely spacious - plenty of room for 6 adults. Huge beds! LBeautiful pool and courtyard and also a great roof terrace with sea views to sit on and read. It was good to have a kitchen spa… more
We absolutely loved our recent stay here. We stayed for 12 nights in a superior 3 bedroom apartment which was extremely spacious - plenty of room for 6 adults. Huge beds! LBeautiful pool and courtyard and also a great roof terrace with sea views to sit on and read. It was good to have a kitchen space too. We stayed in a room on the end closer to fifth avenue and did hear some distant music some evenings but this didn't bother us and imagine that the rooms down the other end would not have any noise at all. The hotel was lovely and quiet and it sometimes felt like we had the place to ourselves - possibly due to it being Oct/Nov. Laura and Miguel were so brilliant and always happy to help and provide recommendations. Breakfast in the morning was good and Lilly, who organises this, was also lovely. We asked for help with a couple of things in the room and this was always provided very quickly. The location was great, close to endless restaurants and shops and a 5 minute walk down to the closest beach. The hotel felt like a calm space within the busy area that is PDC! We hope to be back in the future!

Super kudos to Lilly the lady who prepares breakfast. She works hard, with grace and selflessness, to make sure that you are well fed and ready to start your day.
