“Nice Beach”
This place was nice, location was great. Room were a bit lacking some TLC and no internet in your room. If you are on the last floor that quite a bit of stairs as there in no elevator. Restaurant was fine but could to better.

we booked here for our last night in Mexico. we drove all around the peninsula and wanted to have a big of a blow out for our last night. we booked this hotel because it was on the beach and on the party strip. there wasn't much of a party on the go on the beach, but we did spend the day in the mall, dropped off our rental car (America car rental was great BTW - free drop off at a different location even) the food was ok here, the hotel itself was mid sized, and has a nice pool. the wind was up for days so the beach was closed and it didn't make much difference as there weren't many people around anyway. I'd recommend staying in town and bussing down to the beach or taking a taxi. that way you get a cheaper place and all the party you want! go to Tulum if you want to stay on the beach, or somewhere outside Cancun.

“Excellent Location - Very Dated”
We stayed here in spring of 2015 but it wouldn't let me go back that far. We opted for a room with a jet tub on the patio. Excellent concept, but the tub jets didn't work. The view from BOTH of the patios we had was awesome. There is no elevator, so be ready to walk to the top if you get a suite. Overall - the hotel was dated, but clean enough. the couch kind of made noises when you sat on it because of the fabric. The staff was nice and helped us get in touch with one of our event charters when they couldn't find us. The pool table is garbage, don't plan on playing on it. We tried to have a drink in the hotel bar one night, they had no ice and nothing to really make us cocktails. I felt bad for the guy who was standing behind the bar. HOWEVER - we went across the street and bought drinks and brought them back to the hotel room and used our full sized fridge to store them. If you're not looking for fancy or all inclusive, I would stay here but don't expect luxury. Management photos may not be completely accurate.

I only needed a hotel for one night during a layover on the way to Cuba. I was looking for something inexpensive but clean and comfortable. First, I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. While the lobby didn't have air conditioning I found it quite comfortable with the steady breeze coming off the ocean. The air conditioning worked fine in the room. My room was just over the lobby entrance so I was actually able to get wifi while sitting on the terrace. Over all the hotel just seemed well worn. I can imagine that a hotel on the beach, as it is, would require a lot of continuous maintains to keep up the constant bombardment of salty air and sand. One other reviewer indicated that the hotel was closing in April, 2016 and I was there at the beginning of the month so perhaps they just hadn't kept up maintenance as well as they could, knowing that it was closing soon. For the price and the location, I really wasn't dissatisfied with the overall condition. The room was clean, comfortable, and personally I didn't have issues with street noise even though my room was on that side. What I found somewhat odd was how empty it was. I saw a few other guests but much less than I would expected for a hotel in Cancun. There wasn't anyone at the bar by the pool or the one in the lobby. When I asked when the bar opened I was told that it was open and to just ask if I needed something. I had breakfast in the morning, which was actually fairly good, but ate in the restaurant just in front of the hotel for dinner. For a short stay, I might consider staying again (assuming it's still open) but I would get real bored if it were a week long or more vacation.
