Beautiful hotel but the ques to restraunts and bars are crazy, can be waiting a long time, some restdaunts a booked out for days making it very hard to get a table. We had some issues in our room where we asked for help a few times before anything was done. The Jacuzi pool on the terrace was broke and we asked a few times about it and were told maintenance would come and never did. Still enjoyed the time here but wouldnt book it again. People holding chairs all day frim the morning with towels and nobody at the pools, no montoring on this either.

I think this is a solid 3 star resort. I read so many reviews-and took the sensible advice from others and I honestly don’t have much to complain about. This was the price I was willing to pay for a getaway, I wasn’t expecting 5 stars. I booked through Sunwing, so upgrading didn’t seem to be an option when I asked when we checked in. Aside from the food, everything was fine (we are on day 4 here, and haven’t eaten anything that has made us sick). The Tatish buffet leaves a lot to be desired - all the people, and no hand sanitizer, tongs lying around everywhere, people taking food with their fingers, food not refilled. My 17 year old son just couldn’t eat there and I can understand why. I found that if I went when it was quieter, it was okay. Go before 8:45 am, or at about 7pm to beat the lineups. The Il forno Italian restaurant was where we ended up having lunch everyday (pizza, pasta), so we were really glad to have that option. They also provided excellent service which was really nice. Pro Tips for the blue bands - Coffee and You, show the barista when you put the tip in the jar, before she makes your latte. It’s a much better latte that way (trust me)!! -figure out when things aren’t so busy, and work your schedule around the less busy times so you aren’t waiting in lines. - if you are a drinker, do not leave home without an insulated drink container. Will save you drinking from tiny dirty glasses, and waiting in lines. -Bahia steakhouse, definitely book the first or second night you get there. We weren’t able to get a reservation. And reserve during the day, cause you can’t reserve after hours. ‘On the app, select the restaurant, then select ‘book’ and it will take you to the reservation page. -Coyote bites, was never open (app said it is) -fast food area near the pools, going earlier is better. Again, less waiting in line. -if you want a chair by the pool, get up by 8:30 at the latest and put your towels or something down to save your place. I was down and had my chairs saved by 7am, and always got the ones we wanted. I think they will all be taken by 8:30-9am. -rooms are cleaned every 2 days, they don’t restock your fridge or water bottles -refill your water at the water dispensers out by the pools -bring earplugs (you can hear music from your room). -air conditioning did work in our room. -the safe in our room did not have a lock on it, so prepare to keep some things with you.
