This resort will make you hate all others. This is the chic fil a of hotels- only nice people work here! The entire staff is so kind and helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone will always say hello when they pass. Prompt attention to any issues you may encounter. The food does not taste like typical resort food. It’s truly delicious. Steaks and fish with nothing but fresh ingredients - so good! Cannot wait to go back.

This place is pure magic. When you need to relax, recharge and unwind - there is no better place. I feel lucky to get to come here. Not only is the location pristine, but the hundreds of people who make it feel like home bring it above expectations. No one works harder and happier than the staff at Beloved. Elvis works tirelessly to make sure you have everything you need as you lounge poolside - always with a smile and nice conversation. Michel at the pool bar is ready with a delicious drink and laugh. Claudia at beach concierge is so kind and warm. When she saw my regret that I could not speak Spanish the way I wanted to, she took it upon herself to help me learn more - with kindness and patience. Marisol works day and night to provide memorable experiences - especially for people like my husband who love a good trivia game! So, yes, if you’re looking for a calm, quiet place with clean rooms and a beautiful location, this is a great place to go. But, if you’re looking for the finest in hospitality and a place that makes you feel like you belong, this is the only place to go. Thank you Claudia, Elvis, Michel, Brian, Ambar, Denisse, Christian and the many many more who gave us the most perfect time after a very long year.

“Exceeded our Expectations!”

We will be back! Husband and I stayed at Beloved for a much needed, quiet vacation to get our minds straight. This resort delivered on every level. We have been to Excellence Playa Mujeres twice and Excellence Riveria Maya twice. ( Booked to stay at Excellence Oyster Bay and the new Coral resort next year ). We loved both the resorts when we visited and were very curious about this one. We arrived on Thanksgiving day. Four Seasons travel was amazing. We landed at airport and pulled up to resort in about an hour. Have never had arrival go that quick and smooth. Our room ( Carinosa Suite ) was not ready yet so we wandered to the taco truck for some lunch. Naturally, we were disappointed that Guadalupe had left the resort. We had read all the reviews about him but knew before we arrived he would not be there. (Did hear a rumor he is coming back but never confirmed). Tacos were delicious but be warned - they are spicy!!!! I love spice but this was too much for me. We didn’t know you need to tell them the level of spice you want. All the food and drinks were delicious. Easily got a table except one night at El Mar. That was our fault though because we normally eat early but that night we waited until prime dining time and there was a wait. We didn’t feel like waiting so we just went to a different restaurant instead and got a table immediately. No big deal. We did get the opportunity to go to EPM for dinner one night and were pretty surprised at how the atmosphere has changed there. It had been a few years since we had been there and it has turned into quite a party place. Realized it is not our vibe anymore but it is still lovely and our meal at Lobster House was delicious. Hurried back to the tranquility of Beloved. Easily got a seat at pool or beach each day. Two of the days were very windy so the umbrellas were not open which was a bit of a bummer because I can’t be in the sun all the time. I’m a burner. We figured it out and it didn’t stop us enjoying our vacation. This resort is very quiet, which we loved! There is also so much space between the seats and chairs which was so nice! Not on top of each other like at other resorts. They do play the music too loud at the swim up bar, in my opinion. I don’t normally do this but I must give shout outs to some staff because they were top notch! Vincente - Lobby Bar - Makes the best margaritas! Pasqual - Lobby bar - ask for a Pasqual special Christian - guest services - goes out of his way to take care of you Fernando - Swim up bar pool - fast service with a smile Elvis - beach service - quick service with a smile Sebastian - beach Conceirge- so kind and a hustler Brian - Le Bious - great service Christian - breakfast buffet and La Isla Trattoria- it felt like he was our personal server and just came to whichever restaurant we were at. Could the resort use a refresh? Sure. Should that stop you from going? Absolutely not!!! Just trying to figure out when we can come back!

My wife and I just left Beloved on December 9th. This was our first time going to an all-inclusive resort, and we were not disappointed! We were greeted by the smiling face of Christian, who took our luggage at the front door and gave us a drink, making us feel very welcomed. We stayed in a Junior Suite with Pool View the first three nights, and it was pretty nice. We also stayed in a Terrace Suite with a Plunge Pool for the last two nights, and that was very relaxing. All of the food we had was excellent. In some of the reviews on here, we saw people criticizing the food, so before we arrived at the resort we were wondering how good it would actually be. It was delicious! We're not sure what any of these other people who complain about the food on these reviews are eating on a regular basis, or maybe people are just being overly picky. The Picanha and nightly soup special at Lupita was tasty. The steak and lobster at El Mar was good, The room service for breakfast was awesome, and the tacos at Bocadito's were good. We also enjoyed the lattes, macaroons, and pastries at Caffetto. I must say the staff here is wonderful, and truly make all the difference! My wife and I could not stop talking about how great they were. Special shout-out to the Guest Service Manager Christian Somses for making our stay so nice, and being so accomodating. We wanted to tell him thanks in-person when we checked out, but he was off for the day (hope he sees this review). Marisol was awesome with the activities such as the bead class and bike tours. She's pretty talented! Cristina was so friendly at Caffetto, Fernando gave us great service at the beach, Pacheco gave us great recommendations on what to try at Lupita, Russell provided excellent service at El Mar for us twice, and it seemed like every night we saw Mahely's friendly face working hard as the hostess at every restaurant we went to. My wife also enjoyed talking with Norbelto when he was working the bar one night, and Caffetto another night. And thanks to all the cleaning staff who you don't see, as they keep things very clean at the resort and in the rooms. Additionally, we took the day tour via Season Tours to Chichen Itza and a cenote. I'm always skeptical about booking directly with a hotel/resort (because I usually want to shop around for the best deal), but I thought their price was very fair for all that we got. Homero and Miguel were great guides, and we had no regrets at all booking thru the resort. We rarely return to the same location when we go on vacation, since we like to travel to different places and have new experiences. However, we have already been discussing booking another trip back here, because it was that relaxing. Highly recommend giving it a try!
