This resort appears to have been around for some time, and they certainly have fine tuned many of the processes around this. They are continually working to improve the physical aspects of the facility all while minimizing or disrupting the visitor experience. Having a large footprint it is still quite accessible with only one ramp being a bit steep and challenging. The entire check-in and check-out was exceptional for us. Food was delicious, varied and very enjoyable. The buffet itself had very attentive cook staff monitoring quantity of dishes so that food remained fresh and plentiful which was delivered in smaller dish sizes compared to other resorts we have encountered. They also tried to vary the dishes served to meet everyone's tastes while keeping a somewhat traditional fare. This may be the result of catering to a significantly larger Mexican National demographic which for us was fabulous to see and partake in. The biggest asset this resort has is it's staff. Each and everyone tried to go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Everyone seemed to work as a team, both in the forefront and in the shadows. This was noticed from maintenance staff to the front line staff. We would like to acknowledge some of those that touched our stay and made it a great experience; Javier, Luis and Georgina from Guest Services. Ramone and Angel from the main entrance (Bell hops). Julian, Victor, Pablo, Fermin and especially Guitron at the Lobby Bar. Juan at the pool (server). Roman, Alberto and Everardo at Mole and Tacos. Jose, Pablo, Juan, Porfirio at the buffet. Alfredo and Jobita at the Fish House. Gloria our Transat representative. We did not get the name of our room attendant, but would like to recognize her excellent service also. This may seem like an excessive list, and may be in part be related to me using my mobility scooter and notably recognizable, however, these individuals truly enhanced our time spent here and made it very special for us. The gym was utilized throughout the week, and was satisfactory. Not big, but enough to get a decent workout in. We did not attend any of the evening shows, but saw that there was much effort put into them. My wife participated in the archery which was fun. The Mexican Night festivities was a highlight during the week, and the entire resort was magical. The band was impressive. There are vendors with their wares nightly and do cater to the children of this family oriented resort.

“Anniversary Trip”

Overall great stay. Food was good. Staff attentive. Facilities clean. Rooms are outdated but were clean. Little to no access to charge electronics. Had to move furniture for access.

Room was good but paid for upgrade for close to 500 US for a week, not worth it for we didn't use the extra space would if brought two more people. 9th floor. Restaurants were mediocre at best, got tired of buffet real fast, other 2 if you didn't reserve 1-2 days in advance good luck especially when told with upgrade we can request reservations at 9am that day, we were told only day of!!. Grey wristband not worth it, premium drinks were a battle to get again grey wrist band duh. I guess a couple of bartenders color blind so if you go this way suggest you go up and witness bartender mix. Pool was packed although large, signs say no reserve loungers but if not down there by 8-9am good luck, nothing unexpected (veteran Mexico traveller). Beach okay, sand rocky, staff pretty friendly, first time staying in town usually stay south of pv in Concha chinas. Close to airport and marina. Went to eat 2 times there at sticky fingers (marina) recommend it and 2 times stopping in at Jerry's pub (fav) . The old saying get what you pay for. We decided to try this location but for us unfortunately didn't cut it. Will not be back.
