“Excellent Hosts”

Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to depart Puerto Vallarta before I could stay at La Iguana however… I made my booking thru booking.com. When trying to cancel booking.com told me it was the properties decision to refund my money or not. Upon calling La Iguana, they told me that such request was not received and that Booking.com had the money and wouldn’t release it. I decided to go to the property myself and as they were saying and very WILLINGLY trying to cancel my reservation Booking.com wouldn’t give them the option. I was shown by the reception. Long story short, the female owner (I think) and the reception guy went thru hell with Booking.com to actually get me the refund which they DID. I will ALWAYS consider La Iguana Vallarta from here on out. The area is excellent. Zona Romantica. The hosts are HONEST people. They have a super cool “mini market” right up front with great prices and the facilities are great. Thanks to La Iguana Vallarta for resolving this frustrating issue. Wish I could had stayed with them as they seem like great host. Cheers.

My friend had stayed at this hotel before and told me it would be a much better option than the all inclusive resorts along the beach. I am so glad I trusted my friend because this was such a great value and the location was everything! It is located on the main gay street of Puerto Vallarta and a short walk from the beach and incredible restaurants. The room was so spacious and clean! We loved that we could walk out on our patio and determine if it was time to hit the clubs or enjoy another cocktail in the room. We booked a two bedroom room which to my surprise had three bathrooms and a kitchen! The only amenities at the hotel are the roof top pool but don't expect a big pool. It is more like an oversized spa and rooftop deck area. They also had daily housekeeping. The AC worked amazingly! When my friend and I will make this our go to hotel location when visiting PV!

“More than expected”
Nice touches like coffee and filtered water dispenser. Super Clean, wonderful decorations and pictures on the wall. Has full equip kitchen except kettle. My room was very noisy beside generator but put on ac and drowns it out. As others said very noisy at night due to proximity o bars. Its Not rea… more

My room was very noisy beside generator but put on ac and drowns it out. As others said very noisy at night due to proximity o bars. Its Not really a pool but nice rooftop sitting area with chairs, tables, and umbrella. Great location in old town with “ atmosphere” . Close to fish market, grocery stores and a few blocks from Malecon. Andre thecheckin fellow is as nice as can be. Do NOT arrive early as no one at checkin and no where to wait. Building is shuttered and locked.
