On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

What an amazing time! Came here for a one night stay with my girlfriend in March. The staff go above and beyond and really made out trip unforgettable. We were greeted with water and towels to freshen up and we stayed in the Grand Junior Suite Corner Balcony. The room was phenomenal and had a breathtaking view. We also booked a couples massage and it was really one of the best experiences I've had on a vacation. Highly recommend for couples or those looking to relax. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I have visited Mexico frequently since the ‘80s. We recently returned to one of our favourite places, the Grand Miramar in Puerto Vallarta. The check-in and check-out process was friendly and efficient, and the breathtaking views, gorgeous plants in full bloom, and peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect stay. The friendly and helpful staff, including Abel, Louis, Jorge, Salvador, Lewis, Mario, Alberto, Angela, Joel, Maria, Roberto, José, Daniella, Ulysses, and others, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The stunning rooftop pool with whale and parrot sightings, along with the attentive rooftop staff, contributed to the exceptional experience. Be sure to check out the clubhouse sandwich or the amazing popcorn shrimp with a cold cereveza. The breakfast room offered a delightful array of Mexican dishes and à la carte options, with the chef’s exceptional omelette being a standout. It is all of this that makes a stay at the Grande Miramar truly exceptional. While the bell boys’ signs could be modernized, the exceptional service and amenities make it a standout hotel.

We were welcomed when we arrived and our bags taken to our room while we checked in. The view from our balcony in room 507 was amazing! Both the room and bathroom had lots of space. All the staff were so attentive and friendly.. The concierge recommended great places for dinner and helped us rent a vehicle. The workout room is located at the basement level with very poor internet service in the gym.

We stayed at the Miramar for 8 nights. On arrival we were allocated an ocean-view suite which was totally unacceptable - you could only see the ocean if you hung off the side of the balcony. They had a suite available on the 9th floor with an additional cost of 400 US dollars. After refusing the upgrade and unacceptable suite, they found us the suite we had booked which was excellent. This initial check in experience was poor practice for a hotel of this standard. Off-putting and unwelcoming. Once settled the hotel was very good. The suite was spacious and well appointed. Coffee machines and coffee provided. However, trying to negotiate getting tea bags for the room from reception was impossible. We just gave up!! The views over the terraces are absolutely stunning and often it was enhanced by seeing humpback whales in the bay. The pool, breakfast, room-servicing and front desk staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The pool areas had stunning views over the bay and were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Food around the pool was also excellent. The hotel is high up overlooking PV. To get to town there are taxis available at all times. We used Uber and the cost of a return journey was about £8GBP/$10US dollars return. This was a great way to have the peacefulness and views of the hotel and madness of PV as and when you wanted it. The hotel is very good but not excellent. It lacks attention to detail that a good manager brings to an excellent hotel.
