“THERE WEBSITE DOES NOT DO JUSTICE”
What an amazing resort, we could not say enough kind things about the staff, from Jorge to Jose, Joel, Cecilia, double double, Kaliusta (i think i spelt his name wrong), the day instructors, totally can't remember his name, We asked for more pillows and mattress topper for beds brought to us ASAP… more
What an amazing resort, we could not say enough kind things about the staff, from Jorge to Jose, Joel, Cecilia, double double, Kaliusta (i think i spelt his name wrong), the day instructors, totally can't remember his name, We asked for more pillows and mattress topper for beds brought to us ASAP, the food was amazing 6 different places to eat, ice cream bar, smoothie bar, coffee bar, plus 6 bar to get a drink, Adult pool was amazing, day beds every where, no chairs by pool they need to update their website because this place is absolutely more beautiful in person. fireworks nightly, No staged performances but that was ok we were usually in bed by 9pm you were so tired, good music all day thou. I will totally be coming back my new home away from home. its very sad to see some negative comments here, because you should always try make the best of any situation, this place was over the top to accommodate their guess, the front desk people were so friendly and a lot can speak good English, but we tried to speak their language we are in their country.

“Fun at Friendly Fun”
Isaac, Uri, and Cari were very entertaining. They had a great presentation at a cooking school. Not only did water aerobics give you a workout but Isaac was quite the entertainer. He had everyone in the pool exercising and laughing. Kudos to these three employees at Friendly Fun!

I have been to Friendly many times with my husband, friends and now family . This time it was my sister, myself and my15 year old grandaughter First I’ve noticed they no longer consider that you are a very loyal continuous customer. We paid extra for the tower but they gave us a room with an adjoining door . Well these kids partied till 400 am .We went and complained as we had specifically said we wanted a quiet room when we booked it. I realize that things happen and they did immediately put us in a very quiet room with a wider balcony! Friendly staff has not changed , they are all just lovely people . The only trouble with staff was our housekeeper, we would ask for more towels as there were three of us not two . We also left tips asking for pop and water in fridge which wasn’t done . Two things I did miss was the Mexican night on the beach and there were no shows. I knew my sister and granddaughter would have enjoyed this ! I know with covid it was very difficult but I hope by next year they will have them back. I felt the exchange rate was very poor for Canadian dollars I realize the banks are cheaper but I’ve never seen such a discrepancy. I will only bring pesos next time ! In Canada the exchange was 14 pesos to 1can . We got 11 pesos per 1can which really adds up! As far as safety goes we felt extremely safe in and away from the hotel , I’ve been coming for 40 years now to PV and will always return . We were concerned that the hotel does not seem to take their fire alarm seriously , even the manager came up and heard it. Not only was it disturbing hearing it going off all the time it was unsafe ! I guess that’s Mexico ! Of course I love it for the people, beautiful sights, food ,music and weather ! Yes Friendly I will return next year! Viva Mexico and Friendly

Its unfurtunate that i had to delete my review posted earlier and change it from a five star to a three just by the service i got from samantha in the lobby. They definitely give special treatment to white looking/ passing individual versus latinos. The other staff was so amazing thats its truly a shame that our experience was tarnished by samantha. This was our second time coming and we had come back because of the staff, so when we experience poor treatment like this it makes me doubt wanting to come back Normally we’ve talked to valerie who is so lovely and treats everyone so nice however unfortunately we had samantha who was the opposite and not understanding of the situation at all. This was our second time coming here so to get such treatment from this one individual was astonishing. Really put a bad taste and we will be reconsidering coming back because of this treatment. Also the change in bartenders from last year was apperant no where near as friendly as last year I do need to shout out uriel, karri and isaac however they are amazing same with enrique and valerie. Just a shame samantha was so unpleasant and spoke down to us
