My friend and I stayed at this resort in early Feb. It's a smaller resort but compared to others but it was still nice. The food was great and plenty of it. The resort was clean and the vendors on the resort were very friendly with a no pressure buy attitude. The pools and bars were enjoyable. Downfall - while the room was nice but the bathroom could use a upgrade, the elevator didn't work (which is common) and said it was going to be fixed the next day but it wasn't and still broken when we left. Another thing is they don't promote the activities in Cobo. - the art walk on Thursday nights - If someone on the bus didn't tell us about it we would have never have known. So if you are looking for a smaller resort, kid friendly, great food and clean.. This is your resort. Due to the undertow there is no swimming at this resort but you can still see it and hear it. Also - if you have never have been to Mexico before and this is a good starter resort.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay here back in March 2020. Overall, this hotel is good value for money and situated in a prime location right on a beautiful beach front. The feedback I would really like the hotel to take into account is the food options. My partner and I are both vegan, and found it difficult to find suitable options here. The food at the buffet had no allergy labels, so it was hard to know what contained meat and dairy. This is something I imagine lactose intolerant people or vegetarians would also struggle with. We had hoped that an all-inclusive resort would have at least one suitable vegan meal. Instead we had to attempt to make full meals from the side dishes. Adding things like milk alternatives such as soy/almond or oat milk would be an excellent start. We were never able to visit the beach front restaurant due to reservations being taken up by 7am every day. People would line up from 6:00am each morning to write there names down. After seeing the menu, we noted that there were no vegan options here either :( Our room was lovely and well stocked with water, coffee and toiletries. Unfortunately we did struggle to get to sleep and relax out on our balcony during the day due to the loud music around the main pool area and evening entertainment which usually stopped by 11pm. There is a quieter pool tucked round to the side of the hotel which allowed us to escape from the loud party music. The hotel grounds were beautifully kept, and the staff were always friendly and polite. We enjoyed playing tennis and basketball in the evenings too. We booked a couples massage at the hotel spa which was lovely, however the free Jacuzzi we had afterwards was absolutely freezing which was a shame! Overall, we had a lovely stay here and would recommend this hotel.
