This place is a MUST if you are staying in Cabo! We loved our time at Club Regina. The BEST thing about this resort is the friendly staff. Seriously, after spending a week here I felt like they were family! All of the guys in the lobby were so helpful (Juan, Ignacio) and the staff at the restaurants and bars were super fun! Thank you Rodrigo, Hector and Victor for the excellent service and for always cracking jokes. Our favorite friend Sebastian is in charge of all of the activities. Whether it was pool volleyball, bingo, or the cocktail making class, he was always there to show us a good time! Sebastian is very thoughtful— after Day 1 he remembered our names and would then see us around the resort and invite us to the next activity. He always has good energy and a smile on his face! You can tell everyone loves him, both the staff and the guests. Aside from the crew, the property itself is just beautiful. There is an amazing view of the water. We saw whales on our first morning there out in the ocean! Incredible scenic view. I would also compliment the delicious food. Altura serves awesome lunch like a shrimp burrito or steak fajitas. This is the kind of food to get while in Cabo! The infinity pool overflowing and overlooking the ocean is a really neat place to spend the day. I can’t say enough about this place. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room where we could sit and watch the sunset. It was such a great trip and I can’t wait to come back and see all our friends again!

“Comfortable stay”

This property has good views, no swimming beach, great pools, and rooms that need to be updated. All were outstanding. They made our stay feel very welcome and friendly.

“Older property, not alot going on”

As first-time visitors to Cabo, we weren't entirely sure what to expect. I won this stay through a charity auction, and initially, I had expectations based on previous resort experiences. While we knew the Rainforest Resort wasn’t all-inclusive, we anticipated more in terms of amenities and on-site activities. Essentially, this resort offers a quiet place to stay with a pool, ideal if you're looking for a peaceful retreat without a lot of planned activities and intend to spend much of your time relaxing or cooking in your room. However, we were hoping for a bit more energy and variety. The resort's facilities are older, and on our first night, we had an issue with a very loud toilet that made it impossible to sleep. After three attempts by staff to repair it, which unfortunately resulted in a flooded bathroom, we eventually had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. The staff seemed annoyed by our persistence and not really interested in finding a workable solution for us. This also seemed to be a common issue as we overheard other guests complaining too. There are a few considerations to keep in mind. Although there are no elevators, the friendly staff is more than willing to pick you up and get you around the facility using golf carts, making it easy to navigate the hilly terrain. The resort feels very safe, with a gated front entrance that keeps the grounds secure. The views from our room were stunning, and having patio access to overlook the beach was truly lovely. This is a great choice if you're looking for a very quiet, secluded stay focused on relaxation. I would highly recommend renting a car to avoid costly Uber rides back and forth to amenities and activities outside the resort, as there isn’t much on-site. The location is also central between San Lucas and San Jose, with about 20-25 minutes to each. Overall, if a tranquil, self-reliant experience is what you are after, this resort is fine. But, if you're looking for a curated Cabo experience, I'd look elsewhere!
