Just got back from a magical anniversary trip to the Los Cabos Waldorf. It was great in every respect from start to finish. The resort is set on a really beautiful part of the Cabo shoreline with cliffs to one side and a wide expanse of beach on the other. We had shared prior to our visit that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and at every turn, they made sure to recognize it. There was a welcome gift of handmade soaps in the room, the turndown service left rose petals and a heart of roses on the bed, and the restaurant gave us an anniversary dessert. One of the greatest things about the resort is the staff and how everyone just genuinely seems happy. It was effortless service with grace and it is clear that the staff is really well trained and managed. I highly recommend getting to know the people and make sure you take good care of them. Another is that they do not nickel and dime you at every chance. For example, there is a stocked mini-fridge in the room with water and soft drinks and it is complimentary. You can call anytime and they will come restock. Every afternoon, the resort brings guacamole, chips and salsas and beers to the room. Food: We only ate at the pool bar and Don Manuel's and the food was very very good. Actually we liked Don Manuel's so much that we had dinner there both nights. The resort is very close to the Marina (walking distance) and lots of restaurants. I seriously urge everyone to resist the urge to eat off property. Yes the food can be expensive but is well worth it: first because it is great, second the service is exceptional and third the views. Diamond Recognition: Property does a very good job with Hilton Diamond recognition. We were proactively upgraded prior to arrival and continental breakfast is included ($20 extra to add the buffet which we did both days). By the way, the buffet is really good too so highly recommend paying the extra. Pools: We spent all our time at the adult pool but there is also a family pool on the other side. The adult pool is infinity edged and super nice. Great time just hanging in that pool gazing at the ocean. Tunnel: We walked the tunnel a couple times. Once during the day and once at night. Narrow walkways on both sides so be careful but is is beautiful especially at night with the chandelier and the sconces lit up with fire. Stop midway at the statue and just be at peace. Tips: 1. Reach out to property prior and ask them to send a pdf link to the activities, restaurant menus etc. This is the same link that you will get by scanning a QR code in the room but much better to get it so you can plan 2. As I said before, resist the urge to go off property. We did one day because we wanted to get in a longer walk but no need to eat off property 3. Walk along the beach to the end. You cannot get in the water by the way. On the other side of the cliff that you get to is the famous arch but alas there is no way to get to it. 4. Gratuities: Tip handsomely. We never felt that tips were expected but the service is so great and genuine so take care of the people who are taking care of you 5. Book transportation through the resort to and fro airport. It is pricey but well worth it for the zero hassle. When you get to the airport on your way home, there is someone that meets you and walks you through all the stops till security

If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion in Cabo San Lucas, look no further. This is it! Pre-arrival: Francisco, our assigned concierge, reached out 2 weeks prior to our arrival to offer assistance in planning our trip. it was comforting to know that we had airport transportation and some activities planned and confirmed. Upon arrival: As other reviews have described, going thru the private tunne, arriving at the entrance and then greeted by the welcome margaritas and friendly staff kicked off the Waldorf experience perfectly. Check in was smooth and we were assigned a personal butler, Mariel, for our trip. For the next 6 days, I cannot express how critical Mariel was for the incredible experience we had. She checked in daily, helped organized trips and even time when housekeeping can clean our rooms. Even though we didn't need many dinner reservations, she still made sure we were well taken care of daily. During the Stay: - Housekeeping is top notch! No details went unnoticed and everything was truly 5 star. One detail I want to note is that I bookmarked my book using the sleeve one night since I didn't have a bookmark. Upon returning from our dinner one night, I opened up my book and noticed that housekeeping had inserted a WA bookmark inside my book. That brought a huge smile to my face. - Pool service - lounge chairs were plenty and not hard to get every day. Pool attendants were very friendly and helpful in making the pool experience comfortable. They helped place towels and arranged umbrellas so that we didn't need to lift a finger. During the afternoons, we also got shots of refreshing fruit-infused beverages and small bites. - Breakfast at Don Manuel - we had different waiters daily but every one of them were friendly and greeted us with big smiles daily. We enjoyed the customized omelets or specials daily and also made fruit smoothies. We definitely were able to skip lunch due to enjoying our big, hearty breakfasts every morning. I cannot say enough great things about our visit to WA Pedregal. It's truly a treat and a worthwhile splurge. We hope to return in the future.

Our stay at the luxurious and serene Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, from June 10th to June 15th, spanned 5 nights and 6 days. My wife and I specifically chose to come to this resort to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the doorman at the grand entrance gate. After traversing a 200-yard tunnel carved through a massive cliff, we were captivated by the beautifully constructed hotel, its expansive lobby, and the breathtaking panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. A valet promptly assisted with our luggage and guided us through the check-in process. Our personal concierge, Anali, extended a warm welcome with refreshing Margarita drinks. Despite arriving early in our rental car, we made the most of our time exploring Cabo San Lucas until our 4 PM check-in time. Upon entrance to our room, we were gifted with a bottle of 200mL Clase Azul Reposado Tequila (We could take the decanter with us as a gift). Our entire stay was truly impeccable. On our first evening, we dined at Don Manuel, one of the resort's renowned restaurants. We had made a reservation for 6PM prior to arrival, but the restaurant was unexpectedly quiet, so no reservation seemed necessary. The service surpassed any I've ever experienced, noted both by my wife and myself. Every team member recognized and remembered our names, even congratulating us on our anniversary. The food at Don Manuel was exceptional. Our total cost for the dinner was $134.93. Attention to every detail and our needs by the staff was outstanding. From pulling out our chairs to ensuring we had blankets and always keeping our glasses filled with water, drinks, and coffee, the restaurant staff were consistently attentive. We also enjoyed the infinity pool. With separate pool areas for families and adults, both were excellent for enjoying drinks and sunbathing. The pool staff always provided beach towels and umbrellas, ensuring everything was well-maintained. They also supplied a bag of ice and two water bottles, offering the option to order drinks and foods from our seats as needed. Also, the resort provides you with free bowl of chips and guacamole, and two Corona beers around 4PM each day. On our third day, we participated in an 8 AM yoga class (complimentary but requiring advance reservation due to limited space). It was incredibly relaxing and allowed us to fully embrace our stay, momentarily escaping our busy lives. The instructor was highly professional, and we would gladly participate again if we return. We also indulged in the floating breakfast. Given that most rooms feature an outdoor infinity-edge pool on the veranda, trying something new like this was truly special. Reservations were necessary, allowing us to customize our meal preferences. The entire experience was convenient, romantic, and memorable, with plenty of photo opportunities that my wife particularly cherished. The cost was $157.20. Later that day, at 6 PM, we dined at El Farallon, the highlight of our stay. Carved into a cliff beside the beach, the restaurant's ambiance is unparalleled. One side offers the sensation of waves crashing against rocks, while the other showcases exquisite dishes prepared before your eyes by attentive staff. Each meal was a course menu including appetizers (soup and finger foods), a main dish with two sides, and dessert (ice cream and an anniversary cake). It's crucial to book ahead, especially for sunset times between 6 PM and 7 PM, as it gets very busy; otherwise, entry may only be available after 9 PM. This restaurant is an absolute must for anyone staying at the WA Los Cabos Pedregal. Our total dining expense was $294.75 (*a $12 charge on the water was a bit surprising as water is typically complimentary elsewhere on the property). We also enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast whenever possible. As Hilton Diamond members (easily attainable with the Hilton Aspire credit card), we received a selection of fresh fruits with honey and yogurt, freshly baked pastries, and a choice of yogurt with granola, oatmeal, or cereal. The continental breakfast was more than sufficient for us, though we did upgrade to the hot buffet one day for $25 per person. This included a wide array of fruits, Mexican hot dishes (quesadillas, empanadas, etc.), drinks, and egg dishes. While we enjoyed the upgrade, our preference was generally for the continental breakfast due to our lighter morning appetites. Despite being complimentary, we left a $10 tip each time to express our appreciation for the exceptional service. One additional note: The service at this property is truly exceptional. Your personal concierge is always available via text, and if you wish to explore the city for a day, a golf cart can transport you from your room or the lobby to the entrance gate (we tipped $5 each way). Then the nearby downtown of Cabo San Lucas is only 5-10 minutes away by walking. Upon returning, a staff member greets you with cold water and refreshing towels at the gate. Every staff member at this resort pays extraordinary attention to every guest's need. In conclusion, our stay at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal provided unforgettable memories for both my wife and me. It has become a cherished place for us, thanks to the overwhelming quality of service provided by all staff members. If given the opportunity, we would gladly return in the future. If you seek a place to relax, savor the stunning Pacific Ocean scenery, and indulge in absolute luxury, this is the place for you. *Please note, however, a 15% service charge and 16% tax will apply to all charges made on the premise, including drinks, food, and personal services. Therefore, a $12 coffee will actually cost about $15.70, with an option to add an additional tip. Most particularly, while the pricing at Don Manuel and El Farallon may seem high, the exceptional experiences that you get to experience will outweigh any monetary considerations. At least, that was the case for us.
