We have traveled many places, very basis type to very extravagant type of accommodations and this hotel meets in the middle for me. We originally were at the Rose ( luxury suite) and I asked for waterfront, which they did not have so they upgraded us to Blanco ( also luxury suite), no charge which was very awesome. The service and food were exceptional, we did not eat one bad thing here and my fiance is VERY picky about food. The only thing I didn't think was super great were the desserts, which by the time I got to that, I was so full it wasn't that big of deal. We went off the resort to Sunset Monalisa and I liked my food at the resort more, no joke. Dont get me wrong, Sunset Monalisa's location is amazing, but what I ordered there was just ok. Also, I thought the taxi ride there was slightly high $25 for a 15 min taxi ride ( which I do not take them very often in general so maybe thats average?) Room service was awesome, very timely, however the cleaning service does not restock your fridge with waters or beer so you will have to order it to the room every time you need more and there are limits. Beach and grounds were so well maintained. You will get hassled every day from beach vendors for trinkets and excursions, but just say no and they move on. The rooms are very dated so if you are looking for upscale decor, furniture and bedding and thats a deal breaker for you, I would book some where else. While it is dated, the room was very clean. No bugs, no weird noises, shower pressure was high and temp was good- I really could not hear our neighbors either but we had only one. The view from our balcony was great, we were out there very often just drinking and relaxing. The spa prices are outrageous- we have spent less at higher end hotels! We ended up walking 8 min. down the beach and got exceptional massages at Medano Massages, best $40 you will spend. While it is not a "spa" experience" your eyes are closed half the time anyway, well worth it! Not resort related, but at the airport, if you see the tacos...dont even bother. we paid $110 for 6 tacos and 2 beers!!!! I felt so had and taken advantage of, but I had already enjoyed the items then was SO shocked when I saw how much it was. Overall, we would stay here again for sure!

I’ve been coming here for over 30 years. Very satisfied by the food prepared by Chef Miguel at Paloma’s restaurant. Ate breakfast there everyday and had something different and delicious all 7 days. Martin and Cuper at the bar made the best drinks. Ask for a spicy Bloody Mary! When it comes to friendly staff I was always pleased with Areli, Alfredo, Martin, Omar just to name a few. The real MVP’s are Ivan and Alfredo at the beach! We always had a drink or food when needed. Never waited for a cold drink. The front desk staff were very helpful in making sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our room. Thank you all for making our trip amazing! See you next time!

My boyfriend and I came here on a vacation with a couple of other couples. We've been to a few other all-inclusive resorts before. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the property and would come back. With all experiences, there were good and not so great things... Good: -The service was great. Everyone was friendly and hospitable. All of the bartenders were wonderful and professionals. Special shoutout to Javier who was the mixologist at the airstream, and had an impressive memory and gift at crafting specialty cocktails after describing to him what you like. Also special shoutout to Oscar who worked as a bartender at Peninsula. He was so friendly and made some really delicious cocktails for us! -The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable, including the pillows (and you can choose from a menu of pillows if the ones the room come with don't suffice for you - nice touch!). Noise level was also fine. -The food at Pacifica was great. We found the food at Sunset Beach to not be as good quality, so would recommend sticking with the food at the resort. Though we did hear the brunch was good at Sunset Beach, but we didn't get to try it (there was such a long line that we weren't willing to wait in). We particularly loved our meal at Peninsula. -Both a positive and a negative... the resort is quiet if that's what you like. Not just because it's adults-only but it also feels less "party party" than other resorts. There aren't many free/included activities compared to other all-inclusives. You can take the shuttle to Sunset Beach at nighttime to go to their "nightclub" called After, though it feels very Gen Z in there. -Small thing but the wristband you have to wear to access your room and pay is "cuter" than other resort wristbands and more minimal which we appreciated. Not so great: -We didn't like that so many things had an upcharge. You're already spending so much for the all-inclusive fee, so it's frustrating to pay extra for many different things including activities, dining at certain restaurants (more on this below), and different cocktails. And the upcharge fees are HIGH. For example, an Aperol spritz costs $17 on top of the all-inclusive fee! We found that really surprising, you can go into town and buy the same cocktail for much much less... yet somewhere where you're already paying a high all-inclusive fee charges $17?! We also found it shocking that something as basic as an Aperol spritz wouldn't be included, yet something like Campari, which is technically more premium, is included. More examples of the upcharges... the price of a pickleball rental is obscene - a whole $50 to get 2 rackets and balls and reserve the court for an hour... and that money isn't a deposit, it's a fee). -You can take a shuttle outside the hotel to the different properties, like Sunset Beach which is down the road. The theory of this sounded nice and convenient, but in practice, it wasn't very convenient. We sometimes had to wait around 20 minutes for a shuttle to come by. -As mentioned above, some of the restaurants cost extra money to dine there. We went to La Frida which cost 700 pesos / person ($34). And we were pretty disappointed to learn that you can only choose a set level of courses. For the $34/person fee, it's a 3-course menu - one appetizer, one main and one dessert. We were very unhappy to learn this, as we had enjoyed trying multiple different appetizers and main dishes at other restaurants, so we were upset to pay extra and be limited by how much we could order. And in the end, we honestly didn't think this restaurant was worth the upcharge, the food was unimpressive overall, the other restaurants at Pacifica were just as good if not better. And for 700 pesos/person, you can feed yourself way better going into town. -Odd thing to call out but we found the layout of the property bizarre and it didn't make sense to us. It was like a maze to get to certain restaurants, if you didn't come from a certain path, you would have to go all the way around in order to get to it. It was just weird and takes some getting used to. -We get it, tips are important to staff members. But we did find that some employees were pushier about tips than others. When paying after a meal, they would sometimes show us the list of everything we ordered on the tablet and they would notate that we can tip them in either dollars or based on a % of the value of everything we ordered (the cost of everything had we not been all-inclusive). We found that a bit strange... we're at an all-inclusive so the concept of paying 10 or 15% of all the food and drinks we ordered felt excessive.

The highlight of our stay was the service. The staff was absolutely lovely, gave clear communication and was eager to help us have the best time possible. Though our view was gorgeous in the suite they put us in, I mentioned to the bellhop I was hoping we’d have a view of the rocks - within ten minutes they’d moved us to another suite with a perfect view of the rocks. Housekeeping, room service and the waitstaff at the restaurants were all top notch. The view was unbeatable and the pool was fun. Being on the same grounds as the Rosé gave more options which was nice. I liked the modern technology they used - the app, discreet wristbands, and tablets for bills in the restaurants, etc. No, I would not call this a luxury resort. It’s pretty worn down and the food was not impressive. We did a lot of activities and excursions, so it served as a great homebase. But if our whole trip was spent just at the resort, I think I would have been disappointed. There are some pretty simple they could take in the rooms to get it closer to that level - i.e. fix broken things furnishings, make sure there are accessible outlets, take old screws out of the walls, etc. - so I hope they will make it a priority to do those things because it has the potential to really be a great place.

Just got back from the Pueblo Blanco Los Cabos. I give the hotel 5 stars for location and 2 stars for the room, amenities and service. The rooms need major updating. Felt like I was in another decade, and the walls are so thin and narrow. The bathroom is super claustrophobic. Pull out sofa isn't comfortable for even a kid, and the blankets are not cozy. Water smelled and stayed in both the shower and sink for so long. Grossed me out, especially with all the sand hanging around. I'm not sure if this is a covid side effect, but what's the deal with hotels being so stingy about towels? like, hello we have five guests in the family suite… Don't you think we need five towels? Anyway, I was in the room with the housekeeper and watched her clean our dishes with a sponge and no soap. We didn't do the all inclusive, but pool food was decent and drinks as expected from an all inclusive. Bottomline, if you don't care about luxury or a 5 star experience, this place wins. The location does make up for a lot of it. Just wouldn't do it again, because i'm a bit of a hotel snob.
