“Great location and pool”
I was looking for a hotel with a pool. This hotel faces the Parque Las Palapas where there are dozens of food vendors every night. Also lots of vendors selling jewelry, scarves, and glazed pottery. Most nights there is some of live music.

“Good stopover hotel enroute to Playa del Carmen or Isla Mujeres”
Cheap place to stay for one night. My room smelled heavily of mildew - nothing a good rinse of bleach wouldn't help, I would think. The bed was clean. Room was beside the pool which can be annoying or convenient. Free cold water available in the lobby. Taxi to ferry was about 6 CAD.
