I loved my stay here and they made my birthday really special. Irán helped me plan my activities and what restaurants I should try with my friends. It was a peaceful and calming stay. I will recommend this hotel to any of my friends who will be visiting Cancun.

My recent stay at Paradisus Cancún was unfortunately far from the 5-star experience I anticipated. Here are some key issues I encountered during my visit: 1. Delayed Check-In: Despite the advertised check-in time of 3 PM, I didn't receive my room until 3:45 PM. This delay set the tone for a series of disappointments. 2. Room Quality: Upon entering the room, I expected a luxurious, 5-star environment as advertised. However, I was greeted with a cracked sink, a mirror that was fading at the corners, and a shower that felt more akin to a budget motel than a premium resort. 3. Dining Challenges: Getting food was a major hassle. There was a one-hour waiting list just to dine, making the buffet the only viable option. Even the buffet had a long line in the morning, taking about an hour to get in. Additionally, the service was subpar; it took 20 minutes for servers to return with coffee refills. 4. Pool and Beach Facilities: The pool area was overcrowded with a limited number of lounge chairs. Unless you secured a spot very early in the morning, finding a chair was impossible. On a positive note, the beach was relatively clean with an adequate number of lounge chairs available. 5. Dinner Wait Times: Dinner was another disappointment with a two-hour waiting list after 8 PM. This added unnecessary stress to what should have been a relaxing experience. 6. Not Kid-Friendly: Additionally, this resort is not kid-friendly. There were not many activities for children, making it difficult to keep them entertained. I visited Paradisus Cancún a few years ago and had an amazing experience, but sadly, the quality has significantly declined. If you are looking for a true 5-star quality hotel, I recommend considering other options. This experience was highly disappointing, and I will not be returning. I hope this review helps others who are seeking a quality vacation and a resort where they can fully enjoy their time with their family.

“THE TRUTH ! THE GOOD , BAD AND THE UGLY”

TThis is our 3rd trip to this part in Mexico , and first big 2 week trip without Kids . we chose after a lot of research to stay in the reserve Adult only part of the hotel . the room we chose was the top room , Master Suite ocen view . i would 100% recommend this , the views were amazing , had 4 balconies , 1 from the main bedroom and 3 different angles from the suite lounge part , 2 bathrooms , loads of hanging space in both rooms , bed was super comfy . i will add 1st room we had did not have 2 bathrooms , the are all slightly different configs . Room 5412 and 5610 are highly recommended with the reserve you get a concierge who checks in on you via whatsapp and meeting you , booking restaurants , and our one was excellent Restaurants were ion general good and very good , apart from the Buffet ! fav restaurants Dinner = Flora , Lemon fish , Sals Steak ( 1 complimentary dinner with reserve booking ) the Buffet was disappointing , too small , both in seating and choice . if you compare this to the finest , the Finest was different level . we had to queue up few times to get in , and the line for the cooked eggs was way too long . the pool area in the reserve was great , it wasn’t busy , great pool / bar . amazing views and we were able to get a cabana nearly every day . ok the bad - we were unlucky, we had a week of tropical storms , mid june , if it was 2 weeks of super sunny weather maybe the rest wouldn’t of been see or mattered as much , as we would never of known . as above the Buffet not up to standard compared to others the hotel was built 40 Years ago and refurbed a few times , so for instance our room and hotel areas all good . But , the finish / fittings you can tell , so when we had a storm , with bad rain and worse wind , was terrible , water came in our patio doors really badly and we had a leak in the ceiling - to be fair the hotel did try and help out with cleaning up , repairs , but wasn’t what u expect from a 5* hotel . my point they are not cut out for any stormy weather imo ! i would say the Assistant manager was super helpful re this issue and we managed to sort things out also entertainment could be inproved , 1 show was fun , abba , the other things they had not great and some started too early if ur ating at 730 / 8 pm you will miss it very special mention to GALDINO - our concierge , did an amazing job , couldn’t do enough to help , and did his best with any issues we had - he was amazing LUIZ - barmen at pool bar in the reserve so helpful welcoming , friendly etc STEPHANIE - FLORA restaurant , so nice SUMMARY - good value for what you pay , would i go again ? no , maybe we were spoilt by the Finest but i think the Hotel rooms need to be sorted and modernized , and the buffet knocked down , made much bigger , better choices !
