As of April 1,2021 VISITAX for foreign tourists comes into force. Payment in the amount of 224 Mexican pesos (or $10 USD per person) can be done through the web portal http://visitax.gob.mx/. Foreign tourists can pay before or during their stay in Quintana Roo. Proof of payment must be presented at the airport prior to departure. Riu Hotels does not accept modifications on change of name of the holder of a reservation, nor of the rest of its components. Any modification of names must be made under the format "Cancellation and new reservation" accepting the conditions of new prices, minimum stay or any other, based on the date of new reservation. Riu Hotels does not allow blocks of 3 or more rooms in the same reservation with a single name. Group bookings are processed through the group department, not being able to book individually through this route. Riu Hotels reserves the right to cancel those reservations that violate these conditions.
