Comino Hotel

“Great view good lunch”

Came here for lunch while visiting Comino Island. Had a tuna ftira, Okay it is only a tuna fish sandwich, but really the best tuna fish sandwich with olives and capers Maltese bread and a spicy red sauce.

This hotel is very old and in need of some love. Having said that I really enjoyed my stay with my accommodation being over at the bungalows which is a 10 minute walk round the lovely island from the main hotel. The staff are very friendly and the food was ok. I hear the hotel is having a major refurb from October this year.

“Room out of 70s”

Boat service to get there very unreliable, luckily was in October so not too hot and PRIVATE taxi driver was very helpful. When called the hotel was a bit vague but overall OK. Boat service to get there very unreliable, luckily was in October so not too hot and PRIVATE taxi driver was very helpful. When called the hotel was a bit vague but overall OK. Reception was nice and we got free drinks. Room too small but bathroom ok (aside from broken tiles) it is very old fashioned because they only had one normal 3-pin socket so had to charge phone, iPad etc on power banks charging one at a time during day. Lunch was brilliant but drinks where expensive. i wouldn't take the minibus (unless you want to die) (good place for suicides') . Nobody can drive and nearly got ran over when out walking. staff where quite friendly but its a shame they have closed down. Alright hotel will go back (half-board).
