We'll stocked and reasonable super market My only criticism is the lack of sit down dining options. There is lots in the way of takeaway and food trucks (which are very good) but only 1 restaurant.

“A lovely tranquil break”

Had another fantastic break here, our 4th visit now. Site is very clean. It's in a truly wonderful spot, nestling right in the middle of a forest. Had another fantastic break here, our 4th visit now. Site is very clean. It's in a truly wonderful spot, nestling right in the middle of a forest. If you move away from the piazza area it's a very tranquil site. It's a given you're going to pay more on the onsite supermarket as you're a captive market and it's convenient, however pricing did seem a tad over the top on some items. You'd be better visiting Conad in Venturina. The cafe needs to serve coffee at a decent temperature, it was less then warm most times and requests for very hot milk were ignored. Didn't try the food trucks as they were closed every time we passed. The pizzeria onsite gives a very tasty pizza but toppings are sparse. Very poor value. The site is beginning to show its age. The thatched roofing effect on a lot of buildings has worn away and the plastic underlay is what you see. They make enough to be able to afford maintenance. Laundry facilities are great. Pool area is still great. Would still highly recommend

“Great family park - Relaxing and stress free - needs a nice onsite restaurant!”

Just returned from here with a family of 5, 3 kids aged, 9, 14 & 16 and had a wonderful relaxing holiday! We booked directly via Hu (as we have done with previous parks, Altomincio, Bella Italia) and always excellent check in and communication. We booked an Excellence XL lodge which had 3 bedrooms and was perfect for our party size. We had lodge 1418 which was in the quiet area of the park and I would recommend this as the centre of the park does get busy and noisy at night with the general enjoyment of holiday! Pools were fab, you can ALWAYS get a sunbed whatever time of day and I think this made the holiday for us knowing we could just wander down when you wanted. Plenty of space and easy to navigate between the pools. Kids bought a ball and played with that most days - the Olympic pool was the busiest with loads going on entertainment wise - always something to join in with! Atmosphere fab with music and vibe! Fab foam and pool party:-). We drifted towards the Lido Laguna bar most days which was in the middle which served fab cocktails and a bite to eat:-). Easy to hire bikes and would recommend if you don’t have a car or are on the outskirts of the park as it is quite big. Also allows you to cycle to the beach or offsite which was much needed! We had a day trip to Pisa and cycled to Campiglia Marittima train station (only 3 miles from the back of the park) which was a much safer and shorter ride than San Vincenzo train station. We also found a lovely restaurant on this same route called Il Gelsi which we would 100% recommend as the food was amazing and we were all ready for a nice meal at this point! Only 1 mile from the site and well worth a visit but you need to book a table as it gets booked up. Only let down is the onsite restaurant, despite the reviews we tried it anyway to see and the service is poor. The food is ok, but they are clearly working with minimal staff and it just doesn’t work. Our child got their nuggets last and we had all finished. Very grumpy staff too- just all stressed and not pleasant. Such a shame as the park is screaming out for a nice restaurant - only thing it lacks! Pros: Sunbed availability, amazing supermarket ( healthy deli and food to purchase) tasty take away pizzas, B Eat food plaza - good deals on meals which can be overlooked as looks dark but is really good food. Flat area for cycling. Friendly Hu staff:, entertainment team. Cons: Restaurant (avoid), if you don’t have car from airport - taxi is 180euros each way. Really enjoyed our stay and would def recommend:-). Thanks Park Albatross!!
