“Nice hotel at a good price”

Friendly reception, clean room and a good breakfast. The hotel is located a little outside the city center with 2 min. walking distance across a park to the sand beach. Along the beach it is about 15 min. to a large variety of restaurants of all kind. Great place for a short vacation!

Stayed here at the end of September, which meant it was quite and not a lot of services open around the immediate area and definitely not on the beach. The hotel is quite new, clean and in a good location. We found free parking on the street but I'm certain this would not be the case in summer. They have a free breakfast which was quite good. Rooms are large and clean and it was a pleasant stay. It is important to note, you do not have direct access to the beach (across the sand dunes/pine forest) and yes, you are in front of a campground, which is a bit strange but it was quiet at the end of Sept.

“Do not recommend Follonica.”

When we arrived by train and asked for bus tickets to the hotel, the person sold us tickets to another direction which costed 3 times more. When we arrived by train and asked for bus tickets to the hotel, the person sold us tickets to another direction which costed 3 times more. On the left hand of hotel there is a construction of a building. Hotel itself is clean, beds are comfortable, shower room a little bit tired. Wardrobe is opened, and there is not enough shelves in the room. The walls are very thin, could hear a child running in the hall late in the evening and the wife was shouting smth to her husband. Staff is smiley and helpful. When we arrived we had a room on third floor. On the roof there is air conditioner which makes noise the whole night. If you open the window then you hear the cars rallying on the street at night, and people returning from disco in the morning. We have been changed the room to the first floor, and we slept well next night, but the noise from the roof still could be heard. Breakfast is ok. The beach is nearby, but dirty, too many people, umbrella with chairs - 25 eur per day. There are insects "fleas", which bites. At the hotel we were recommended to eat at Pirates and Montecristo. Pirates - slow service, dirty, terrible food - we had lasagna and risotto ( which actually was just boiled rice with seafood). Montecristo - very nice interior, but the taste of food is of school canteen, and small portions.

“Paper Walls. No privacy ”

Our stay was only for one night. The place doesn’t look like you want to stay for a week. My children and I got there after midnight. The staff at checking was pleasant. Our stay was only for one night. The place doesn’t look like you want to stay for a week. My children and I got there after midnight. The staff at checking was pleasant. I can only say that their walls are totally paper thin and made me live one of the most embarrassing moments in front of my children ages 10 and 12. The couple next door was enjoying a night of great sex, but we could hear every.thing. It was as if we were sitting on their bed. We did laughed about it the next day. Not my type of privacy.
