“Relaxing place”

Was a fantastic week spent at the Quadrifoglio. The staff are very nice and welcome. Helped us alot where to find places to visit. The breakfast was fantastic with local traditional food. Not difficult to find if you hace a good gps.

Il Quadrifoglio is a small family run B&B. The B&B is easy to reach and it takes around 50-60 min by car from Palermo Airport. There is free, but unsupervised, parking available just outside the B&B. Il Quadrifoglio is a small family run B&B. The B&B is easy to reach and it takes around 50-60 min by car from Palermo Airport. There is free, but unsupervised, parking available just outside the B&B. The owners and staff are very sweet, polite and helpful. Their English is not at conversation level. This was not a problem as their English was much better than our Italien, so combined with the helpfulness of our host we were able to get some good advice on where to go around Trapani. The rooms are nice, clean, well-kept with large bathrooms. The beds are made every day. The aircon is stable and keeps the room at a pleasant temperature. The size of the room was just adequate for three persons but would have been way too overcrowded for a family of four (Especially if you traveled with two pre-teens). The bunk bed and the double bed fills the room and it was difficult to find a spot for unpacking even one large suitcase ( we generally avoid closets and cabinets) The free WiFi was unstable (Down 0,09 Mbit/s - Up 0,38 Mbit/s to 9,2 Mbit/s down - 1,07 Mbits/s up)and the coverage needs to be improved. However, our GSM provider gave us a four-bar coverage and 4G at the B&B. The B&B serves a traditional “dolce” breakfast - nice, tasty, simple and of course served with freshly made Italian-style coffee and a smile. It is served every day between 0800-1000. The flatscreen tv is way to small to be of any use. The B&B is a few (5-6) kilometers outside the center of Trapani so you will have to drive or hire a taxi if you want to go to downtown Trapani. There are no refrigerator in the rooms and only a medium sized refrigerator available in one of the common rooms. You will have to share this with the other guests and the morning meal, thus leaving only room for a beer or two. Essentially - the B&B is a place were you eat your breakfast, all other meals must be taken elsewhere (which is not a problem in Trapani :-)) The B&B is not overcrowded, but it does not have many private spots. Only in front of the rooms facing the front you will find a little privacy and a nice view of the Erice. The mosquitoes around the B&B are small and not as aggressive as in Scandinavia, but they will bite you if you sit outside your room in the morning and evening, so bring some mosquito repellent. The swimmingpool is deep and has an adequate size for the number of visitors. The pool is kids friendly. Note of caution - we are not aware of how much it matters which room you rent, as the rooms seem to be allocated rather arbitrarily to the guests. Our room was supposed to come with a garden view and a bathtub, and we were initially offered a room with only highlight windows (facing the pool area) and there was no bathtub in the room (with “garden view”) that we were offered as a substitute for previous room. Il Quadrifoglio is a well kept and cozy little B&B, the staff is very sweet, but, at 112 euro per night this B&B is in the high end price wise - therefore only a 4 bubble rating. We generally had a pleasant stay and I would recommend Il Quadrifoglio if you are staying in the Trapani area.

“Good place, good value”

Very nice guest house with everything neat and orderly. The owners looked after us well, adapted the breakfast to our taste and conversed in English according to their best ability. The location is not that brilliant, but when we had a car, it didn't do much. Very nice and affordable stay for us.
