Stayed just one night. Phoned and spoke to the front desk prior to staying. Spoke with Mike. Really helpful and helped determine best place to park safely locally. “Jonic is just the tonic”
We had a room on the top floor with amazing sea views..a little dated in decor but still charming...fabulous balcony with loungers and table/chairs...decent breakfast, nothing fancy..location is central and good with beaches either side to walk down steps to..the cable car to take you up to Taorm... more

Stayed at Jónic hotel in Mazaro for 3 nights in a deluxe room. Positive: location could not be better, most beautiful beach in the area right outside the door, and 1 min walking from cable car to Taormina. Also get the deluxe room. “Very average”
A very basic hotel, which is in serious need of an upgrade. The decor is very outdated. The shower flooded the bathroom. The breakfast is not great. No fresh fruit - I mean we are in Sicily!
