We had a fantastic week in Sicily and really enjoyed our stay at Caesar Palace. We couldn’t fault the cleanliness of our room and communal areas (and I’m quite fussy). Our balcony overlooked the pool which was kept really clean and was where my children spent most of their time! The animation team were friendly and engaging, yes the music around the pool was occasionally a bit loud but there were also quiet times during the day. Activities included water aerobics, water polo, darts, dancing lessons. There was a kids club but my children weren’t keen on attending as just wanted to be in the pool, the animation team did try to persuade them and we found they tried really hard to engage people and be inclusive of all nationalities. Brits were definitely in the minority (a huge bonus in our opinion) but they always gave announcements in English and encouraged us to join in with things. Leandro is a legend, speaks 3 languages, is a fantastic dancer and clearly just wants everyone to have a great time. We loved him. Isabella also a lovely person, great with the children. Evening entertainment was generally live music, but there was also karaoke one night and a Sicilian night. As the Euro football championship was on they also had the evening games on a screen so that kept my football mad son and husband happy. The hotel is all inclusive and the choice of food was excellent, there was only about an hour a day where you couldn’t eat!! Drinks also available all day, alcoholic ones from 10am-midnight, the beer is Moretti, a range of spirits and Aperol on tap. Also ice cream and granita/slush available all day. Everything is self service which, with 2 growing boys, suited us down to the ground. My one criticism would be the disposable plastic cups as I felt this was not very environmentally responsible, would be better if they issued everyone with a washable, reusable cup on a deposit system as they do with the pool towels. I’m surprised at some of the negative comments, particularly people being surprised about the large number of Italian people being in a hotel in Sicily, classic British!! We would definitely return, thanks for a wonderful stay.

I visited this hotel in the last week, for a week’s stay with my dad and teenage daughters. We went on an all-inclusive package basis with EasyJet. The hotel was really good and we had an enjoyable week, despite my youngest being on full-on awkward mode!! Please be advised that at Catania Airport, you may have a wait before your shared transfer bus can leave. It’s not like holidays to Spain or the Canaries, which are more geared up to package holidays, and the coaches fill up and depart quickly. We had to wait for passengers to arrive from other flights. Not the best start, but EasyJet do warn you about this, so it’s all good. I’d really recommend taking handheld fans for the transfers, as neither the coach there or on the return had air conditioning. It certainly didn’t feel like it anyway! The actual flights themselves were very smooth and unproblematic. Our family room (dad had his own) was good, with a really comfortable king sized bed. One of my daughters slept on a fold-up bed and although she said it wasn’t as comfortable as the king size, she didn’t complain. The shower was excellent and I had no issues with the WiFi either. The air-conditioning was fab and didn’t once break, unlike at other hotels I’ve visited! The cleaning was good with friendly maids too. In fact, all of the staff were friendly enough, without ever being intrusive. The pool was really lovely with the most glorious water temperature. Some hotel pools are absolutely freezing and you really have to brace yourself going in! This one was like getting into a tepid bath. It really was so nice. Sunloungers were plentiful though we did struggle at times to find 4 together, but that’s ok. Pool towels were given with a 10 euro deposit for each one. Please be warned if you have younger children that the pool doesn’t actually open until 9am (closes at 6pm). For me, with sleepy teens, this obviously wasn’t a problem! Breakfast running until 10.30am was a godsend. The shuttle bus to the beach was brilliant and we really enjoyed our time there. It takes a break in the hottest part of the day and resumes at 3.30, I’m sure it was. We never had a problem getting a seat, but I’d be down there early if you want the first bus after siesta. There is a designated area on the beach for Caesar Palace guests and it’s all well organised. The hotel food was fairly average, if I’m honest. I’m a real foodie and it wasn’t a highlight for us. We didn’t struggle to eat but I can’t say I ever looked forward to our meals particularly. There wasn’t as much choice as I’ve had at other all-inclusives, and the overall quality and taste were relatively mediocre. My teens had been keen to try authentic Italian pizza and not once did they offer pizza, at dinner or lunch! We ate out a couple of times for this reason. There was no show-cooking or pancake station, for example, though the snack bar by the pool was decent. The drinks were good though, with a reasonable selection. It was all self-service which I really appreciated, as it saves on queues. The slushy drinks on tap were loved by the kids. Very importantly, don’t forget your mosquito repellent! Be warned. Dad and I were very badly bitten in the last few nights, though they left my teens alone. Al in all, a perfectly good holiday at a lovely, relaxed and laidback hotel. I would recommend it. Lots of Italian families there, which was lovely. Oh, and there’s a supermarket close by for all your holiday snacks and essentials. Just come out of the hotel and turn left on the main road, and it’s a couple of minutes’ walk away. We also visited Taormina, which was beautiful, and a shopper/Instagrammer’s heaven! The local bus wasn’t the most reliable but we got there and back in the end, and it’s all part of life’s adventure. Hope this review is helpful!

They organized a wide range of activities that catered to guests of all ages. Whether it was engaging games, relaxing sessions, or invigorating sports, the team ensured that there was never a dull moment. Their enthusiasm and energy were truly infectious, making each day exciting and fun. The reception staff were equally impressive. They were always available to answer any questions we had and handled any issues promptly and efficiently. Their helpfulness and friendliness made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. The culinary team deserves a special mention for the fantastic food they provided. Each meal was a culinary delight, offering a variety of dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. The chefs clearly put a lot of effort into ensuring that every guest enjoyed their dining experience. **Room for Improvement** While the staff's efforts were exemplary, there were a few areas where the hotel could improve. Some aspects of the hotel were not well-maintained, such as the hairdryer in our room, which was not in the best condition. Additionally, there were minor issues like towels having holes. However, whenever we brought these concerns to the staff's attention, they were quick to address and rectify the problems, which we greatly appreciated. **Behavior of Some Guests** Unfortunately, not all guests were as considerate. Some seemed to misuse the all-inclusive nature of the hotel, behaving disrespectfully by piling their plates excessively and wasting food without regard for others. Additionally, some parents failed to supervise their children, leading to incidents like littering in the pool area. **Final Thoughts** Despite these minor drawbacks, our overall experience at the Caesar Palace Hotel was satisfying. The dedication and hard work of the staff truly made our stay enjoyable. “Not for the over 50’s”

This was the last hotel as part of a Titan tour. This hotel was not a great place for touring over 50’s, so much noisy music and children rushing around. This was the last hotel as part of a Titan tour. This hotel was not a great place for touring over 50’s, so much noisy music and children rushing around. Large pool though unfortunately mostly out of your depth, which isn’t great when children are floating around on lilo’s bumping into you. Plenty of choice with the hotel buffet , though got a bit boring after a few days. Had to move rooms as my bed was very uncomfortable, this was done willingly and ended up with a much bigger room. Shower tray however leaked and flooded the bathroom every time I took a shower. If you are a family no doubt this hotel would be more acceptable
