Great hotel stopped for a week in September which is classed as low season but the hotel was really busy with the majority of the guests italian, we had a sea view room and it was perfect with great views of the sea and the sunset, the staff were all very polite and tried their best to help us when we needed it , the food is perfectly fine with at least 3 or 4 meals on a evening to choose from you can also ask to swap your evening meal to lunch which allows you to to go to Cefalu for a night out if you want , the breakfast was a bit bland with the same items on every morning and it's luck of the draw if the eggs are hot or cold, the hotel runs a bus into Cefalu which you can either pay on the bus for a single or pay at the info desk for a return, be aware if you miss the last bus home it will cost you 25euros for a taxi home a minibus for 8 people will be 35euros the hotel also runs a free shuttle bus to the beach which takes you to a private part of the beach for Costa verde guests only with free beds and parasols, the beach is course sand and stones but the sea is lovely. Cefalu is well worth a visit but it does get busy highlights include cathedral, you must also try a arancine ball which are delicious, back to the hotel the pool area has plenty of sun lounge at anytime of the day only bit of criticism would be the pool is really cold and never seems to warm up, we went to Palermo on the train which is very easy to do as the hotel bus drops you at the station , when in Palermo I would advise to use a hop on/off bus or mini train which takes you to all the sights and saves alot of walking in the heat, Sicily has been everything I had imagined it would be and I would like to think I will return sooner rather than later

We’ve had a really pleasant stay at this hotel, rooms are nicely decorated and clean, however beds could be more comfortable .Staff are lovely and the pools are also nice and clean. Only advice would be going all inclusive, we went half board and regretted it as there is nothing in the area not even a shop as the hotel is situated by a busy road overlooking the coastline. So ended up having to pay for drinks or even water at the hotel. Cefalu is beautiful, only a short bus ride away from the hotel but the bus only runs few times a day so plan your day wisely. Hotel beach not great very pebbly, one in Cefalu way better and kid friendly. Food was delicious. Be aware that outside of season there isn’t much going on, no entertainment , some trips unavailable and no AC (that probably was the worst as we couldn’t sleep at night it was hot). We don’t like huge busy resorts so this was just right with few improvements it could be great.

Food - breakfast is good fruit, croissants everyday everything else is pretty meh. A few different types of pasta for lunch and tea with usually some meat and sides. Not amazing not terrible. Drinks- Paying for water !!! No water on arrival, you have to travel to Cefalù to buy some decent water otherwise it’s €5 for two bottles in the hotel, not included in all inclusive. The rest of the all inclusive drinks are really small, you’ll be up and down every two minutes. Room- we were on the 6th floor with a lovely view. The room is nice, only note is the mattress is quite firm, it didn’t cause me any problems unexpectedly but it isn’t the comfiest. You only get 1 pillow each when we did find quite uncomfortable. Location - short bus ride into Cefalù which comes a few times throughout the day. We spent most of our days in the town rather then the hotel and would probably just stay there in future. Bus is €8.40 with return. Otherwise there’s no where walkable around the hotel. I would recommend la Calette reef club which is a beach club walkable from the town. It is on the pricey side but if you get found in your walk back into town well worth it. Pool is lovely no problems there. Staff- Reveption staff are really friendly and helpful, bar and restaurant staff less so.
