“Great location, atmospheric, super rooms but not what I would call a resort!”
This was our first accommodation on a 9 day tour of Sicily and it was wonderful. Recently renovated, elegant, spacious rooms in an old convent, with 3 monks still in residence, and a beautiful, restored church attached. Very easy walk into wonderful Acireale.

“A convent as a hotel”
I really liked this hotel, it was different from other hotels, very quiet, recently renovated. Spacious rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner were very good and I certainly would recommend this hotel and if I was back in Acireale this hotel would be my first choice.

“Unusual place to stay .....”
We stayed here with friends whilst visiting the carnival ..... well placed at the top of the town and good parking. Just a short walk to the main square.Such an unusual place to stay with its vaulted ceilings and so much history all around you.

The rooms however (especially the single rooms) are extremely small, the bathroom so tight, one can hardly move. No safe, no minibar, cheap "Ikea.style" furniture Dinner in the courtyard was quite nice - the… more
