This hotel had a really intimate feel. The setting was gorgeous. The shuttle bus to the beach ran regularly and when needed collection all you needed to do was ring reception and the bus would arrive to collect you. Is going to La Pelosa beach you need to book a place online during the peak season otherwise you can only visit the beach after 6pm. We loved the breakfast-everything was very fresh and the pastries were lovely. Our room was very clean with a big bathroom.

This is probably one of the best small hotels we have ever stayed in. The location is superb, just five mins by their 'on call shuttle bus' to Pelosa Beach, yet in an oasis of calm, full of flowers and plants everywhere you look. The room [we had one in the original building] was excellent, spacious and modern yet with some many quirky period aspects all used to maxmum effect. This resulted in so much storage and nooks and crannies to store everything. Kingsize very comfy bed, beautiful views [go for a seaview if you can]. Lovely bathroom, beautifully tiled in terracotta and blue and white. Great powerful shower. Three way mirrors and lots of space. The terrace where you could eat breakfast or relax any time of day with a drink was completely drenched in flowers and shurbs of all kinds. Pots and pots, big, bigger and enormous full of every colour you can imagine. The rose arch and Bougainvillea need special mention!! The staff were the most helpful and friendly, always smiling and with a solution to every question. Happy to book restaurants, sea trips or provide an early departure breakfast. A real family feeling. Breakfast was superb, a week was not long enough to sample everything and alongside the regular fresh fruits, fruit salad, cakes, cereals, eggs, cold meats, juices, croissants [numerous varieties], jams, honeys etc etc, every day there were new freshly cooked savoury and sweet dishes coming from the kitchen. The hotel does not do evening meals or lunch but gave us a list of recommended local restaurants, two walkable and others in Stinino, overlooking the port and others a short drive away. We tried the majority and all were excellent and great value. The pool was beautiful, cleverly positioned in a dip below the hotels amid the gardens, clean and beautifully maintained. With brand new loungers and umbrellas, enough for say 24 people, we never shared the pool with more than 6 guests as we came and went at various times. The pool has its own bar/icecream refreshment place where you could charge to the room. Only little moan was the attendant had head banging choice of music he tended to switch on at various times when something peaceful would have been preferable [showing our age so not a problem for most guests I think!] We visited Pelosa Beach - stunning, took a boat trip to Asinara - a must do day trip, loved Stintino the local town and stumbled on Cosia di Donna - a far more scenic east coast than the flat, windy west beaches that are more publicised. On our last night discovered a lovely little beach cove walking distance of the hotel - wish we'd found that earlier but a reason to return. We love this hotel and cannot recommend highly enough. Be aware it is dog friendly so be prepared to share outdoor terrace, pool and patio areas with furry friends so if this might be a problem for you ask for an upstairs room with balcony. Would definitely go back. Thank you, Park Hotel Asinara

“Summer 2024”
Super nice hotel with a beautiful view, easy parking, skilled staff, nice rooms and really delicious breakfast. However, it is very unfortunate that ball games are allowed in the pool, which makes us not want to choose the place a second time.
