Hotel Baia del Porto is a gorgeous place, elegant and charming. Thanks to the sofisticated taste of the owner, Mrs Maria Teresa, who has been able to create a magic atmosphere, Baia del Porto can be counted among the best hotels in the area. Supported by a woman of great character and attention, Mrs Donatella, who is able to grasp the needs of each guest, the hotel can be considered unique. I can not mention each member of this great team by name, but I just want to thank  all of them for the great kindness and availability. I will take these beautiful memories with me.

“Beautiful hotel”

I was a bit worried as this place has mixed reviews but I'm glad I came, I came at the end of August and stayed for 1 week. The hotel is very beautiful and the staff are lovely, especially the bartenders. My room was large, and I loved the firm mattress, I slept well every night. The cleaners were excellent, and the hotel was spotless. I do have a few cons, but that didn't bother me too much as I had a car rental and was only bed and breakfast, so we were out every day and evening at restaurants. The cons I have are; the breakfast was not to the standards it should be, and my mum has allergies to lactose and was charged extra to have a coffee made with oat milk. The shower was cold, and there was fake grass layed in front of my room, which looked tacky, and the seats on my porch looked really dated and cheap. The WiFi only works in the reception area and there lacks a vibe in the evenings especially on the weekend, the music will put you to sleep and it was completely dead by 12pm, I also found it strange how much of the seating is just for display and always with reserved signs but no one ever using it, even the hammock had a sign that it's just for display which was very disappointing. The beach was over crowded and you can only have two chairs per room or you will get charged and you don't have a private section of the beach because other people not from the hotel can put their umbrellas up and sit infront of the chairs and it just feels so cramped. If you go, it's definitely essential to rent a car and explore other much nicer beaches and areas. I didn't use the pool but families with children seemed to enjoy it a lot and the hotel is very child friendly. If I was all inclusive and didn't have a car I wouldn't be happy here but because I had freedom to explore I was very happy here, it just depends what's important to you, I was barely there and only slept there so for me the comfort of my bed and the cleanliness of the hotel was my most important and the lovely staff.
