Hotel Forte is a very nice, comfortable place with nice sea-view rooms (or swimming pool side rooms). Ours was on the ocean side with a nice balcony. Staff is very attentive. Its location slightly outside the center of Vieste is perfect. Plenty of parking, a swimming pool and the ocean is just across the street. It is less than a five-minute drive to town where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and little shops. There is even a cinema. We went just before the season closing. On October 15 most of the big hotels will close until March the following year. Not all restaurants might be open in October, but we enjoyed the quietness and being able to take pictures without masses of people within my picture frame. For us the perfect time. We also took a boat trip recommended by the hotel staff along the coast and saw beautiful grottos. It is a 2hrs30min boat ride but worth while. We used the company called Desiree. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Pleasant stay”

Perfectly kept and clean place, lovely pool area, large children's play room, very good lunch offerings and last but not least very friendly and helpful staff! Umbrella at the lovely beach with two beach chairs was included! Thank you for a pleasant stay!

This is a good modern very clean hotel. It has a first class location opposite the beach with panoramic views from the top floor. There is free parking at the front either on the road or in the large carpark. Rooms are bright and airy with very good air conditioning. They are well equipped and modern. They are also very clean and have an outside balcony. Staff and service are good. The restaurant on the top floor is well laid out and serves both breakfast and dinner. The breakfast choice is good and is the typical Italian fare. Their coffee is very good. The evening dinner is very good. There is a limited choice but the quality and presentation is very good. It is very good value for money. The hotel has a very nice pool complex. It has access to the private area of the beach opposite. The beach is first class. There really is not much else to say other than it is a very good hotel for both families and couples. We have been three times to it, so it must be doing something right. Would I go back again? Yes, Yes,Yes.

The hotel gives good value for money: about €60 p/n gives an up to date, normal-sized hotel room (no tea/coffee), swimming pool, friendly staff and good location. Decoration is simple, breakfast is ok but somewhat limited if you're staying longer than a couple of days. Beach is around the corner, though not the best beach around town and the direct surroundings of the hotel could have some maintenance. So the 4 star hotel is more of a 3 star hotel. Also regarding the fine weather and time of year, a good part of the beach houses and restaurants are still closed and terraces are mostly empty. The holiday season really starts from the end of may/beginning of june.
