This is a lovely hotel, very clean and quiet. It us in a great location for the main town and the old town. The food in the restaurant is excellent however at meals they do not give you a price list for drinks and when you sign against your room there is no price just what you have had. The rooms are large but tired and in need of an update. Note there's no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and hotel drinks are expensive. Big tip, turn left out of the main entrance and next door us a lovely,cheap family run bar.

“Great value .....Great Great food !”

Stayed for a week in July as part of a package . Hotel grounds are spotless , pools lovely ( note you need a hat to be allowed in , as per most Italian hotels ) , good transfer to the beach via mini bus , staff friendly and helpful with things to do and trips , all in all very good and a very tradi… more

Stayed for a week in July as part of a package . Hotel grounds are spotless , pools lovely ( note you need a hat to be allowed in , as per most Italian hotels ) , good transfer to the beach via mini bus , staff friendly and helpful with things to do and trips , all in all very good and a very traditional Italian feel which we liked. The best part by far was the food - outstanding 👌 We were going to eat out a few nights but didnt bother as it was excellent every day with lots of choice . The pool bar was great during the day with fresh , light dishes and cocktails to match what you were eating - fresh white peach bellinis were a big hit ! I guess it would be nice if there was an outside dining area in the evening and it is very quite at night ,but thats being super picky.

“Stunning views and grounds in a beautiful area of ischia”

This really is a great hotel. The grounds are fabulous with lots of seating areas, 2 pools and stunning views of Castello Arogonese . Our rooms were clean, great balconies and seaviews but unlike the rooms above ( we were lower floors) are ready for an upgrade which is why I knocked off a point. … more

This really is a great hotel. The grounds are fabulous with lots of seating areas, 2 pools and stunning views of Castello Arogonese . Our rooms were clean, great balconies and seaviews but unlike the rooms above ( we were lower floors) are ready for an upgrade which is why I knocked off a point. Staff were great and there if needed. Room service every day with fresh towels etc. We never struggled to get a bed by the pools too. The walk to Ischia Ponte town was around 5 minutes downhill and little longer back. The Port 15 minutes. One note, if you are infirm on your feet , the grounds are on lots of levels so access could be limiting to some area. All in all a great hotel and value for money.

“There are better hotels on this island!”

The hotel is nice and has a very nice spa. One of the outdoor pools has hot water so we could enjoy a bath even in early November, as the weather was lovely. The food is not great, there are very few vegetarian options and no vegan options; from a 4 star hotel, this is not acceptable anymore in 20… more

The hotel is nice and has a very nice spa. One of the outdoor pools has hot water so we could enjoy a bath even in early November, as the weather was lovely. The food is not great, there are very few vegetarian options and no vegan options; from a 4 star hotel, this is not acceptable anymore in 2024. Also, it is impossible to properly rest as the light enters in the rooms very early, and there is no soundproofing.
