This hotel is a jewel. While most visitors are Italian or German, the staff also speaks English. Everyone was extremely helpful. They went out of their way to help us get beach towels (not realizing people bring their own on vacation here). The kids club workers were fantastic! They were so sweet with our kids and were able to speak English with them. The whole hotel is kid-friendly. There is a special menu for kids meals, which includes basics like pasta and French fries. The adults always have fish and non-fish options for their meals. And ice cream or another dessert after lunch and dinner. The bruschetta is out of this world. Even though check-out was a few hours before our ferry, the hotel happily let us stay in the lounge area and our kids got to go to kids club, even after we had checked out. The provide a free shuttle to the beach and the port. The rooms were clean. The only surprise was that there were some mosquitos by the pool so bring some bug spray for the evenings. This hotel was amazingly affordable given the high quality staff and facilities.

Actually i found this hotel by chance on google maps. We couldn't have had a better holiday. You find all the reasons for it in the other positive reviews but i simply like to add my review out of gratefulness... And i'ld like the owners to know what a great staff they have i.e. have chosen (but sure they know). The food is great because honest and real: fresh fish is being delivered same day, no strange things like cherry tomatoes on fish filets or basil or parmesan on the seafood which tourists introduced in other areas. This is the kind of cuisine of my childhood when i visited my nonna in Italy. And our children loved it as well! Beside that, as the other reviews mention, great staff, friendly, attentive, able to make own decisions without asking three other managers like in other hotels. From the cleaning staff to receptionists and driver: just great. Small note: and despite the fact we didn't think about the kid's club before it was a real treat to us and our boys had a great time even if they don't speak Italian (the staff there also know some other languages and the atmosphere was simply good). Almost all rooms are renovated but i'ld also take a old room here.
