“Nice and quite hotel”

Close to the beach, friendly staff, clean, parking what more do you want for a stay at the beach? Next time in Rimini I'm certainly going to stay again at the Telstar. The owner even explained the history of Rimini and it's quite interesting.

Good breakfast includes the 3 types of meats, cheese, buns, croissants, jams, coffee, tea, juice, water. Please note that in Italian breakfast you never find the eggs and sausages. We have booked the half board and for dinner had the 3 cuisines menu: 1st starter was pasta or rice or pizza, 2nd- potato with meat or any other dish -meat+garnish, 3rd was dessert: pana cotta, tiramisu or fruits. !!! Please note that the is impossible to choose the preferred dish for the dinner and NO SWEDISH TABLE at all. The officiants bring the dinner of the day: starter and 2nd dish without any possible choice. In general is possible to choose only dessert: pana cotta, tiramisu or fruits. The dinner menu changes every day. BE CAREFUL, because staff doesn't warn about water/wine additional costs for the dinner. Officiants offer the drinks: wine, cola, water, BUT NEVER SAY THAT IT'S AN EXTRA COSTS. Finally we faced the ''surprise'' paying an additional for drinks at check out. The dinner costs 13 eur in hotel if you have taken BB only, but near the hotel is plenty of pizzerias and bars, so is easily to find the place for the dinner. Retailer Coop is located the 15 min walk from the hotel. The location from the Rimini center is 5 km. Nice location from the beach- 5 min walk only. PLEASE NOTE that PARKING HAS LIMITED SLOTS, approx for 10 cars and it's quite narrow. Unfortunately is impossible to reserve the slot for particular car, because hotel uses the principle 'who parked first stays at the slot''. We have arrived by car at nigh and was forced to park in private parking 8 euro per day, because hotels parking slots and street parking were totally full. No chance to park the car on the street, because it's usually full and due to signs. The interior of room reminds the soviet time: old bathroom facilities, old TV. The room has also balcony. No hairdryer in the bathroom. No modern conditioner system, but old soviet time ''windmill''. Wi-fi works only in lobby, no chance to catch it in the room. The staff is different: there is working the middle age man whose spokes only Italian without English capability, but at the same time works the middle age blond man whose is helpful and speaks the English. If you choose the value for money the hotel meets the expectations, but take in account the disadvantaged as well.
