“Satisfaction”
We booked what they call a superior room. Everything was perfect. The room, the bathroom, the staff, the breakfast. My wife chose this hotel because breakfast looked good. If you are unlucky there is no space and you have to block the street

Citta de la Parenzo is a great place to stay in the heart of lovely Trieste. Nice staff, clean rooms, sparkling white marble bathrooms, a really good breakfast, and a superb location. The only odd thing is that the elevator stops on landings BETWEEN floors, so be prepared to lug a little. But you’r… more
Citta de la Parenzo is a great place to stay in the heart of lovely Trieste. Nice staff, clean rooms, sparkling white marble bathrooms, a really good breakfast, and a superb location. The only odd thing is that the elevator stops on landings BETWEEN floors, so be prepared to lug a little. But you’re a traveler! You’re used to luggery! Swimmers! If you’re in need of a good long swim, take the bus out to the beaches north of the city. They are really nice for a good workout. Not much sand for lounging but the water is beautiful.

“Excellent for budget conscious travellers”
Incredibly well located close to the old town and lots of choices in restaurants nearby..Super quiet street.Good breakfast a bonus.Great value for what it is considering how much some similar places charge . It is a close walk down to the water

“Boutique Hotel in Trieste”
This hotel is convenient to shopping, restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the pier. The front staff are very helpful and speak English, Italian, and probably other languages. The rooms are not large but comfortable and there is limited storage for clothes, luggage or personal items (in our room).… more
This hotel is convenient to shopping, restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the pier. The front staff are very helpful and speak English, Italian, and probably other languages. The rooms are not large but comfortable and there is limited storage for clothes, luggage or personal items (in our room). It is on a side street so little road noise. The breakfast offers a lot of healthy options, and the coffee bar is very extensive. One caveat for handicapped travelers: there is an elevator but the elevator stops between floors so it is necessary to go up or down one flight of stairs. The desk person was kind enough to carry our large suitcases up the stairs for us. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and in Trieste.
