We stayed here through a travelzoo deal and had a lovely family holiday. The hotel is wonderful - it has beautiful views of the beach, clean rooms, delicious food, a lovely outdoor swimming pool with plenty of loungers, and good access to the beach. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive throughout our stay, both at reception and also the waiting staff at breakfast/dinner. Highly recommend staying here.

“A lovely trip away”

We booked a cheap deal with Travelodeal and weren’t really sure what to expect for the (very reasonable) price paid. Thankfully we need not have concerned as everything was great! We arrived about midnight due to delayed flight and trains but Adrienne warmly welcomed us and gave us an upgraded room as we’d been allocated a double room in error, instead of twin beds. We saw Adrienne a few times during our stay and he was always so helpful, chatty and friendly. Generally speaking there seems to be a more mature crowd at this hotel as they welcome lots of Saga trips, but this suited us as everyone was sociable and we weren’t looking for a wild holiday, just a few days to relax and enjoy some sunshine. All of the staff at this hotel are superb! From the young men who serve you hot drinks in the morning to the staff on the reception desk and cleaning team - in fact everyone who worked at the hotel, without exception. We asked to book a taxi to the station for our return trip home and were offered a lift by one of the managers. We were so grateful. The half day trip to San Marino was excellent! Private (very clean) minibus was well worth hiring at only 45 euros each (and would have been even cheaper if more guests had joined us) with door to door service. Don’t miss visiting San Marino, it’s so charming and feels authentically Italian…even though it’s not in Italy! The canapés & wine voucher can be used at either the hotel or a wine bar overlooking the marina. We chose the latter and it was really lovely. The resort is very reasonable and we found a bar offering cocktails for 7 euros which arrived with a free plate of canapés! The marina/harbour is a lovely area to enjoy the views and just to sit and people watch. There’s a few little boutiques too selling stylish clothes and homewares. The food at this hotel is perfectly fine and plenty of options each evening. It’s not 5 star dining but perfectly acceptable and nicely presented, with a complimentary glass of wine thrown in too! Breakfast is buffet style but we enjoyed ordering from a menu in the evenings. We hired deckchairs on the beach and again, they were very reasonably priced. The shops in the local area were quite ‘seasidey’ but given that Gabito Mare attracts lots of families then you’d expect a fair few bucket & spade type shops. I had my hair done whilst away and if was cheaper than UK prices. Everyone seems very down to earth at this resort and genuinely eager to please, unlike a few areas of Italy where I’ve experienced a little bit of arrogance. Not here, they’re really lovely people. Our room was spotless and we had a lovely view of the sea. The bathroom was tiny (smallest shower cubicle ever!) and a bit tired in parts but clean and ok for 4 days away. Our beds were very comfortable and spacious - perfect! We had a few hours around the pool but ran out of time so didn’t explore the rest of the hotel including the spa. The terrace area is a lovely space and the sunsets are stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights away and a big thank you to everyone who made our trip so special ❤️

As soon as we arrived feeling very tired we were greeted with warmth and a smile. The San Succi is in my view a perfect hotel,close enough to town and far enough to feel away from the noise. The vista from the impressive deck is so beautiful and the sunsets are perfect. The prices of drinks are very competitive with all the local bars and restaurants. The food is excellent breakfast and dinner. We had a room at the back of the hotel next to the lift and in past experience other hotels,this would not be great but it was quite and spacious with a large shower room,perfect for sleep then onto the deck for morning coffee and a view. But above all this hotel has staff that are very good at their job and they seem to have a pride where they work. I would highly recommend staying here.

I have just returned from a week in Hotel Sans Souci travelling as a solo on a group trip with The Travel Department. I would like to thank the management and staff for providing the best hospitality experience in the hotel I stayed on a half board basis and the food was very good. They had a special dinner one evening for us on the Terrace with music. I booked a double room with sea view and it was lovely to sit on the balcony in the morning before breakfast. The hotel is right at the beach and the pool is clean and well maintained. It has a spa which I didn't use during my visit. There is a nice promenade walk into Gabicce Mare from the hotel. Gabicce Mare is a typical holiday seaside/bucket and spade town and it was just opening up for the season so still quite quiet during the week. We visited Bologna, Ravenna and San Marino on organised trips. The latter is especially worth visiting due to it's tax free shopping. We also took the bus to Pesaro which is the Italian City of Culture 2024 and the small train to Gabicce Mare for lovely views. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.
