We flew from Stansted Airport to Ancona with Ryanair and caught a train from outside the train station to Falcona and a second train from Falcona to Cattolica which was remarkably cheap (about 7 euros each) and much easier than we expected, but if you plan on using the trains remember to stamp you ticket in the machine at the station before you leave. The hotel is a 30 minute walk from the train station. When we arrived the staff were very welcoming and although they weren't fluent in English there was a couple of staff that were easily able to translate. The room was modern and clean, there was aircon, kettle, hair dryer, miniatures, a safe, tea & coffee and a fridge with free water. The hotel is covered by wifi which is free of charge. We had the choice of hard and soft pillows. The only negative about the room was the lack of English TV channels. Our room overlooked the outdoor pool from the balcony which was a little on the small side but was still functional. There is a train line very close to the hotel but it never disturbed us. We stayed at the hotel primarily for the World Superbikes at Misano which was a 50 minute walk to the track and although some sections of the roads lacked a pavement it was still an easy walk and it appears normal for locals to walk down the road. Our tickets were late being posted out and in the end they were sent directly to the hotel before we arrived, the hotel signed for the tickets and emailed us to let us know they had received them. The hotel is very close to the beach and all the bars and shops. Breakfast in a morning is served from half 7 till 10 and is continental buffet style although eggs are available, a nice touch was a English snapshot newspaper which was provided at breakfast each day. We checked out at half 5 in the morning and even though the restaurant was closed we were offered coffee before we left. Really enjoyed our break and would love to stay at this hotel again.

“Welcoming staff in a hotel close to the beach and shopping”

We cannot say enough good things about the staff at this hotel who were most helpful and friendly each and every day. Room was stylish and bathroom was clean with large shower. We were staying here for the Misano Moto GP and found that the hotel is only a 45minute walk to the track.

Recently returned from a two week stay at this magnificently run family hotel. Try half board, it will save you having to troll throught the mediocre tourist food in town . Everything is kept up to date and the rooms are clean and modern. It is also a perfect location for exploring the area. You can just tell that the team here are looked after by the way they go about their business. This, in my view, is a credit to the owner. But everyone from reception to the restaurant staff, including the chef and the kids club girls and the cleaners all play their part in making this hotel a place that you will want to visit again. Even leaving for the airport at 5am, we were given fresh coffee and croissants and the kids given a packed lunch for the drive. Try it, you will never, ever feel taken for granted.

Great modern hotel located in central area of Catttolica. The staff were professional, helpful, friendly and made us feel so welcome Lovely rooms and excellent bathroom We stayed in an off season time so he hotel,was quiet which for us was perfect. The breakfast was varied with good choices and again nothing was too much trouble Beautiful swimming pool with lovely staff who were happy to bring drinks and food. Loved our stay and would highly recommend especially to anyone with young children
