We have returned to stay at the Hotel Mediterraneo for the 2nd time this year and all I can say is WOW!! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like we had returned to our Italian home by Pina and the team on the front desk. Check in was quick and easy and made even better with a glass of Prosecco in the beautiful Oltremare bar. As we had arrive late in the evening Pina kindly ordered us some Pizza’s from our favourite place which we ate outside on the piazza. Up to our room we went and were thrilled that our request had been fulfilled and we had the room we stayed in previously which we love amazing sea views and great for people watching. Breakfast up on the 5th floor again has stunning views across the bay which just makes you feel so relaxed to start your day. Salvatore and the team up there do everything to make sure you are happy and always keep the cappuccino’s coming to wake you up. The food is beautiful also plenty of choice from something cooked to order such as eggs, French toast, smoked salmon and you can also help yourself to the buffet where there is fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, pastries, fresh bread, meat etc… it’s was always a pleasure to be greated by Rossella every morning too she is always smiling and very friendly. We spent our time around the pool area when relaxing in the hotel and again all the staff can’t do enough for you, drinks/food can be ordered to your sun loungers or you can eat in the restaurant by the pool. Everything we ordered was superb especially the frozen Pina colada’s. We spent several nights during our stay up on the Vista Sky bar which again you guessed it had amazing views and sunsets that are hard to beat anywhere in the world, we were greeted by Carmen and Rossella who make you feel special and the service from Marco was first class. We are not normally sushi lovers but we tried it here and I have to say we are now converted, all the food and drink we had in the sky bar was delicious. We also had a spa treatment and the ladies down there did an amazing job, we had a couples massage and it was so relaxing and well worth the money I’d highly recommend. So we are sat here on our balcony with 2 days left of our holiday and we are already planning our return trip for 2025. As much as the hotel facilities and everything about it is 5 star it’s the way the people who work here make you feel that really sets it apart from any other hotel. That starts with Pina who is like our Italian mum (even though she is far too young) 😛, and runs right through every area of the hotel. My wife Elizabeth and I want to thank you all so much for making our stay even better than the first time. We will definitely be coming back.

“Amazing”

The staff and atmosphere are brilliant, this is our fourth time staying here and it is Continuously great. The food in the restaurant is of a very high standard. It is close to Sorrento and if you don’t feel like walking the hotel have a great shuttle bus.

Just returned from 7 nights at this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted. We received an upgraded room which looked across the bay and had a small balcony. The view was spectacular! The staff across the entire hotel are exceptional. Housekeeping were brilliant, our room was spotless every day. Thank you. Special thanks to the concierge Anello for contacting the tour provider on our behalf to help with a pick up delay, and always being on hand to answer questions we had. The shuffle service provided was most welcome and a nice touch. The trip into Sorrento centre is approx 10 mins depending on traffic. The breakfast was lovely, with the option of buffet style or a choice freshly cooked from the menu. Again, the waiting staff and Matri’D were fantastic. The views from the Vista Skybar were amazing. We watched sunset across the sea with lovely cocktails in hand. A very special experience. We used the pool, which was quiet, and in a beautiful garden setting. We also used La Marinella beach club (complimentary with the hotel). Which again was a nice perk. We look forward to returning soon.

My wife and I just held our dream wedding at Hotel Mediterraneo and it was simply majestic. The food, drinks and service are top-notch at this hotel, and they made our experience feel very welcoming and heartfelt. Our wedding planners Alessia and Valeria were spectacular throughout the experience. Of course the views are unforgettable and the sunset was perfect for our wedding day. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and wouldn’t change a thing. It will be one of the most memorable moments of our lives. Thank you to all of the staff of Hotel Mediterraneo, we hope to see you again during our return one day.
