We visited recently, staying for 7 nights with a small group. We were so glad to be staying here, right on the sea, in a small family run hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. However, there were one or two issues. The most significant being the fact that they hold private events in the hotel, and one night, the thump thump of the ‘music’ went on until midnight. Far too loud, making the walls vibrate. On the weekend, there were three events in one day. Why oh why is there such loud ‘ music’ in the afternoon for a baby party? When the noise stopped, we felt relieved, but there was a 30 th birthday party to follow! That said, if you have a room overlooking the ( black sand) beach, the skies are wonderful. Especially from the rooftop bar. We twice had to ask for loo roll to be replaced. Two members of our group complained about the stench from the drains in their shower, which was apparently dealt with by copious amounts of bleach. Buses to Sorrento are easy and regular. Only 2 euros. Do not get a taxi which will be very expensive. Really a 3 star hotel not a four star. House wine not good, very mean with toiletries such as soap, shampoo.

Stayed here for a week in September. Initial impressions were good. Hotel and room immaculate and modern. We had a Seaview room with balcony. The rooftop terrace bar was used frequently by private functions, although it was advertised for hotel residents this is clearly not the case. With not much else around to access on an evening this was often the only option, and to be turned away at the door is very frustrating. When you do get in, sunset is beautiful with very nice cocktails. Beach... didn't get sun until late In the day so didn't use it during our stay, and didn't like the system that hotel guests still pay to use sun beds. Breakfast... was nice, plenty to choose from. Food in restaurant was nice, but menu a little limited. Hotel is quite remote, and if you have mobility issues. where it is situated may cause problems. We booked this hotel without doing our research, if we had known how far out of Sorrento it was, we would have picked something closer to centre.

While the location of this hotel being on the water was initially what drew us to make our reservation, our experience was entirely overwhelmed by the night-time activities on the floor top bar. 4/5 nights of our stay, the rooftop bar (listed as one of the amenities to enjoy) was inaccessible to guests, and instead, hosting incredibly loud club-like events for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, etc. We were even on the bottom floor of the hotel, and it was still vibrating the floors and windows until 12:30am. Although the staff is very kind, they mentioned that this is a common complaint and happens every week. So, if you like sleep before midnight, stay somewhere else.
