We don’t normally go to holiday welcome meetings - we just don’t enjoy them. This hotel was different. One of the hotel owners, Matteo, was there too. Straight away he said “welcome home”. It might sound corny but he means it. Make sure you go on the tour of the hotel garden. It’s worth it. You’ll be introduced to some of the hotel staff and see the amazing garden and crops. The pride they have in their garden and the effort they make to have zero waste is amazing. Our room was on the first floor with a beautiful view of the Bay of Naples. Mount Vesuvius was opposite us. It’s more than worth it to pay the extra for a sea view. Our room was very kept spotlessly clean. Our bedding we think was changed at least three times in our two week stay. The bed was very comfortable. We had a great shower room - again it was kept very clean. The house keeping team work very hard to keep guests comfortable. For us the Restaurant and the food available was a great plus. Tables are available inside and out. We really enjoyed the outside tables. It’s self- service buffet for breakfast and dinner. We were encouraged to try everything. There will be a choice of food to suit everyone. You can go really Italian or stay less adventurous….. For us the seafood, pasta, salad and risotto dishes were big favourites. We were told that if there wasn’t anything you fancied they would cook something you did want. The desserts available were spot on. The gelato at night was the best we’ve had in a hotel. The restaurant staff are special. They make you feel welcome, comfortable and valued. You’re not rushed from your table. They’re happy for you to take all night if you want to. The Restaurant manager is perhaps the nicest man you could meet. He must have spoke to every table each night making sure everyone was happy. The pool area is lovely. Salvatore works so hard to keep the pool area clean and tidy. The pool opens at 08:30. There’s a very sedate rush first thing for sun-beds but it’s not a stampede. We always got a spot in the sun. If you want shade or sun Salvatore will do his best to keep you happy. I asked for a parasol one afternoon and he kept coming back to move it an inch to make sure I was in the shade . Now that is service…. You can order drinks and snacks from the bar. It’s dangerous sat in the sun drinking cocktails!! Conca Park is about a 10 minute walk from Sorrento town centre. Make sure you have a mooch about downtown; it’s lovely and the views from the cliffs are beautiful. There’s a bit of a hill to walk through the reception tunnel but there are electric buggies available if you’re not up for the hike. From our arrival to up to we left we had absolutely nothing to complain about. The staff work so hard to make sure guests are having a great holiday . We were told to feel at home - we did. We really did enjoy our new home.

“Conca Park conquered again!”

Conca Park is an excellect hotel in a superb location. The food choices covered every pallette and were very tasty. The staff were all very friendly and always helpful. We visited this hotel 10 years ago. We were even more impressed this time.

First time to Sorrento and really wasn't sure what to expect from the hotel. Needn't have worried, since it was first class in every respect and better than some 5*s I've stayed in. Conveniently located, pretty much at the end of Sorrento's main street, it gives easy access to all that Sorrento offers. Our plan was to eat out in the evenings, but the food was so good and the service so wonderful, that we changed things around. The pool is much bigger than I anticipated, and again well serviced, with beds readily available. The hotel is spotlessly clean and modern, and the evening entertainment (pianist/tenors) was superb. The buggy ride from the 'false reception' to the main hotel was actually great fun as well, and staff across the offering were never less than courteous and helpful. My only 'disappointment' was that our sea view room did not have a balcony, which we would have loved. However we were in Room 620, and none of the rooms on the 6th floor have balconies, so worth noting perhaps for when you book. It was also noisy due to being near the lifts and some inconsiderate fellow guests that were using it noisily. That's the luck of the draw though I guess. Wouldn't hesitate to return though - a brilliant hotel.
