Me and my friend (both 18) came here on a girls holiday for a week in early July and the hotel was so lovely. We were pleased with the quality of the rooms and the amenities provided, especially the air con which was a god sent in the heat! The pool area was very nice with no silly restrictions regarding pool floats and there was a good selection of cocktails on the all-inclusive, however, possibly room for improvement with the beer as there is only peroni to choose from. In terms of food, the lunch buffet outside was a delight, with a selection of pizza, pastas, salad and desserts. On the other hand, the breakfast not so satisfactory as the toaster didn’t work well, there were no beans on offer, the bacon was pure fat and the scrambled eggs were way too runny, however, the pastries section was nice. Dinner inside was ok and basic, but less on offer compared to the lunch buffet. Although, the barbecue they held on specific days outside offered a range of seafood, ribs and other delicious food which we really enjoyed. The hotel does not offer evening entertainment apart from the barbecue days where they brought in a dance group, which we really enjoyed as they were very engaging and we were able to get up and dance with them to Italian music. Sorrento is around a 25/30 min walk from the hotel but there is a shuttle bus which runs every couple of hours to and from sorrento which was helpful some days. Sorrento itself is an incredibly beautiful town and this is a good hotel to consider if you want to stay near sorrento but not right in the middle. The staff at the hotel were also friendly and happy to help with any questions/ queries.

“Good 3 * choice”

Good location for getting out and about, courtesy bus to town was really useful. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Any issues resolved quickly and efficiently. Good location for getting out and about, courtesy bus to town was really useful. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Any issues resolved quickly and efficiently. Excellent breakfast choice, perfect choice of options at lunch, dinner not so good, very basic and limited choices, we ate out most nights. We would definitely go back knowing we would most likely eat out in the evening.

Ignore the bad reviews! The hotel is just fine - sure, it could do with a spruce up but it's pleasant, and the staff are fantastic. All Inclusive buffet food was lovely, breakfast has a good selection of cereal, toast, pastries, cheese, salami, fruit, yogurt, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, pancakes, cakes, juices. Lunch is served outside and is generally pasta and pizza, with plenty salad options. Dinner is BBQ outdoors 3 nights a week and indoors the rest of the time, similar to lunch with pizza and pasta being the main options, and these options were delicious! Centrally located with the entrance on the main road into Sorrento, about a 20 minute walk. It's true this is a very busy road, with very narrow pavements, but why the hotel is to blame for this I've no idea, so why mention it in the reviews? There is a shuttle bus which we used a few times and yes one morning the bus was full because people jumped the queue, but that's not the hotel's fault. We opted to walk that day. Pool area is pleasant and the temperature of the water was perfect, my daughter spent a lot of time swimming and had a great time - only downside is the main pool is quite deep, even for some adults, and the only other pool is a very, very small shallow kids pool. I did get many mosquito bites (over 30!) which was the only downside to the whole holiday, I killed 3 in the room itself, mostly I was getting bitten overnight, my daughter wasn't even touched though thankfully. The gardens of the hotel are beautiful, the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a package holiday hotel, which is very reasonably priced - I don't think it's fair to expect the Ritz.
