My husband and I stayed at Hotel Vittoria during our honeymoon trip to Positano. Although September is one of the busiest months to visit the area, the hotel is located on a separate beach (about 10 minute walk) away from the main tourist area. It was extremely nice to be away from the chaos and have less people around. The beach club that the hotel is associated with had far less people visiting, and they offered price discounts on the chairs there. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly! The hotel had breakfast included and it was really great. The rooms were clean and had a very nice view of the town and the water. We will definitely be back one day! It was a fantastic place to stay and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it!

We had such a wonderful stay at hotel Vittoria. Altogether for our family holiday we booked out 3 rooms. The rooms were lovely - true authentic Italian decor, balconies and views from all angles of the hotel. Breakfast and coffee was wonderful. Staff really friendly. Porters on hand to help with the luggage and they have their work cut out with all the stairs. Yes there are stairs but there is everywhere in Positano. Out the back of the hotel you can walk directly down the stairs to Pupetto beach, which was one of our favourite in Italy. Highly recommend this hotel - we would return in a heartbeat.

The staff were lovely and breakfast was good. No pool, which resulted in us having nowhere to sit and relax during the day. Our balcony was very small and had little sun. There were just 2 chairs and a small table, but you had to be careful that you didn’t lean on the wall as there were many ants. If you go to the beach the sun loungers are 40 Euros per day if you want to be close to the sea! No tea and coffee making facilities in the room – just a fridge. We took a travel kettle which made a big difference. Large bathroom with excellent water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. Everyone should see Positano – but for a couple of days. Not for a week. 75 steps to our hotel – which was fine – but steps everywhere you went. Such a busy place especially when it's an Italian Bank Holiday.
