On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

My stay in Buca di Bacco was very nice, great food at the restaurant, the views from the balcony were amazing and service was great but what really made my stay here special and unforgettable was the front seat service given by Rosita. She was helpful, knowledgeable, hospitable and always attentive. She helped me whenever I needed anything, I felt like I was really being taken care of. I would go back to this hotel and see Rosita again. Can’t wait to go back ❤️

“Another wonderful holiday”
We had a wonderful time at the hotel, I now have mobility issues but this was not a problem for them. Beautiful scenery, wonderful staff. This is our fourth time at the hotel. Waking up to those wonderful views in the morning and the sound of the sea is amazing.

Buca di Baccho Hotel Positano---We were so happy to return to Positano for our 10th Anniversary. After our honeymoon was so amazing, we couldn’t wait to come back!! The hotel, city, views, and locals did not disappoint!! What a tremendous place to spend time together with the beautiful sea views and sunsets. We got wonderful service from the front desk every single time!! Rosita, Guillermo, Maria, Fernanda & Marco showed their joy of service in every experience and smiled through every encounter as they met all our needs! Food Service in this establishment is still fabulous!! From the welcome drink in the American Bar with Matteo, Salvatore, & Pedro to the spectacular food choices from Buca de Bacco Ristorante on the terrace supervised by Francesco with our servers Frederico, again Pedro & Salvatore we were completely floored! Even the continental breakfast with coffee service from Cavello and Francesca was just as amazing as 10 years ago. We couldn’t have been happier with everything in our favorite hotel on the Amalfi Coast!!!

Buca di Bacco is a must-stay in Positano. The beds are very comfortable and housekeeping makes sure you stay stocked with clean towels, toiletries, and drinks (which are also included). Breakfast is delicious and has something for everyone. It is also well located for the beach and boat tours, shopping, and restaurants. The only downside is that there isn't great access to the road so plan to pay for a porter to bring your bags down to the hotel and back up when leaving. If you are doing any driving tours, plan to meet your tour group at the top of the hill which is a manageable but not negligible uphill walk.
