“A must stay in hotel!”

Definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had. Cozy, lovely view, very clean, very friendly staff and amazing food. We had a great time as a family with kids staying on La pergola. Catch the bus to Amalfi town or have a nice walk with amazing scenery!

A nice hotel with super helpful service. The breakfast and dinners at the terrace were very fresh with produce from their gardens and catch of the day. They had well kept lemon orchards that were so beautiful to sit amongst during meals as well as walk through. The rooms were clean and we had a pretty view of the water from our balcony. A little bit away from the Amalfi town but it's nice that it is walkable (about 20 minutes) and there is a bus stop outside the hotel too.

“Stayed this summer, would recommend to anyone 10/10”

Just got back from a week at this place and it was FANTASTIC. Daniel, the owner and chef, was extremely fun when walking through the garden and doing the cooking class. Highly recommend doing that as well. The staff on the terrace and in the lobby are both amazing. They provided suggestions on places to go, things to do, and even helped book them for us. In addition, on multiple nights, we arrived somewhat late and the staff still went to grab us a bottle of wine etc. Overall, cannot recommend a place more, and it's a very short trip to the actual touristy area of Amalfi.

Hotel Pergola (Amalfi) What a “GEM” We booked Hotel Pergola in Amalfi for a week in order to attend my son’s “destination wedding”. 14 of us stayed here for a week. Hotel La Pergola’s location is close to Amalfi city center (i.e., main strip close to harbor, ferries and buses). Easy commute…and the bus line has a stop in front of the hotel/restaurant (i.e.,La Terrazza dei Limoni). We commuted between Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento using a single bus line. Bus was only 2.90 Euro per trip. The hotel and restaurant are owned and run by Mama Rita and her son Daniele, who is also the Chef. They are both hands-on. You will enjoy Daniele’s meals as well as Mama Rita’s cooking and pastry skills. The morning breakfast buffet includes both European and American cuisine. Scrambled eggs and bacon for the American tourist, along with cheese, meats, cereal, fresh breads, yogurts and organic fruits and vegetables from the very own garden. Freshly squeezed orange juice and Cappuccino started each of our days. Food was so fantastic for both the breakfast buffet and our dinner at their La Terrazza dei Limoni restaurant. Chef Daniele provided us an exceptional and oftentimes unique dining experience. He and his staff were able to create and often times modify menu items to meet our large group’s culinary taste from his scratch kitchen….and with 14 people eating together….he handled the task in a superior manner. All 14 people in the group enjoyed the meals so much, we chose to end our day with meals at our hotel….it was so good. I was personally impressed by Walter and Angelo…for managing and arranging the restaurant so that 14 of us could eat breakfast and dinners together. They always provided our group with an exceptional dining experience every time. Be sure to try their Limoncello, made by Daniele. It is by far the best we have tasted on this trip to Italy. Forgot to mention, you’ll enjoy sipping the Limoncello or Limoncello spritz on their terrace overlooking their lemon trees and the Salerno Gulf on the Tyrrhenian Sea. Our group is already buying bottles of their Limoncello to take back to the USA and Germany. Salvatore and Mario, two of the Hotel staff, met our travel needs by ordering cabs - so that we could get to the destination wedding on time - to parking our vehicles in their garage for us. The most important thing about Hotel Pergola/La Terrazza Dei Limoni is that it truly is a family business. Although, through my personal contact I’m only mentioning a few by name, but everyone at the hotel treat each other like family members. The entire staff treated our family of 14 like family members. What’s not to like…Mama Mia-Mama Rita and Daniele!!!!!!
