Guests at Park Hotel & Spa - Adults Only say: We have been to the Park Hotel many times in the past so this review is definitely overdue. I’ll start off by saying that there is nowhere else we would stay when visiting Zakynthos! Our experience has always been amazing and this year was no different. The management and staff don’t just run the hotel, they genuinely care about what they do and their guests. It is evident in every aspect of how the hotel operates - nothing is too much trouble! We were greeted warmly on arrival by the Owner and his reception team (Natalie & George), every time we visit the Owner has something new to show us and we always love to see the changes he has made since our last stay, he is clearly very invested in providing the best experience he can. The location is a short walk from Tsivili and the facilities are second to none. The hotel interior is very tastefully decorated with a modern yet welcoming look, full of neutral tones, tiling and the odd splash of bold green – just perfect. The rooms are spacious and the feel of the main area follows through to the bedrooms with comfortable beds, good storage, a lovely bathroom, plenty of plugs, mirrors, a fridge, tea/coffee facilities, a hairdryer and even an iron, I should also add that the air con is brilliant and the addition of a sofa is a nice touch. Hats off to the housekeeping staff who clean every room on a daily basis and change towels every two days, although it’s worth noting that if you want a change of towels at any other point during your stay, you simply need to ask. They are lovely ladies, always smiling and they do an excellent job, everything is spotless, always! The bar area is really lovely, with high stools, sofas and also external seating area which is beautiful in the evening overlooking the pool for a pre-dinner drink. The barman Fotis is really friendly, polite and above all welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. All drinks are branded which is always a good sign and we loved to start and finish an evening with a drink at the bar and a chat with other guests. The pool areas are simply the best, lots of sunbeds so no battles there and they are super comfortable too! The Park has two pools, a larger one and a smaller one, the smaller of the two has a jacuzzi function which is an added luxury. The pools are never overcrowded with inflatables or people which is a welcome change and as this is an adult only hotel the general vibe is ‘perfectly chilled’. The pool bar area is tastefully done, with helpful staff, Ledana (hope that is spelt right) and Dimitris (again hope spelt right) were polite, efficient and friendly. The food at the pool bar is also top notch, really good quality and perfectly cooked and presented, hats off to the chef! We ate there every afternoon and I don’t think we had the same thing twice as it’s a pretty extensive menu and reasonable too. The gym area is also an added bonus if you are someone who likes to ‘keep moving’ on holiday! Breakfast is served from 07:30 to 10:30 in the restaurant area which is light and airy with a brilliant selection on offer, hot and cold foods and a chef who rustles up omelettes/eggs of your choice. Everything is fresh, tastes great and is replenished constantly. The foyer of the hotel is comfortable and spacious and we often sat on the sofas after breakfast and read for a while. There is a library area in the form of an ‘modern art work’ mounted on the wall, where you can borrow/take a book to read while on your holiday and also leave your book when you are finished with it, I really like the idea of recycling books, also great if you forgot to pick one up at the airport. This hotel also boasts a spa which is serene and very reasonable priced, I would definitely recommend a massage to kick off or round off your holiday. What about the beach I hear you ask, the Park Hotel is approximately 10 mins stroll to the beach BUT if you don’t fancy walking, the hotel offers a shuttle service three times a day. Tsivili offers a wide variety of lovely restaurants, bars, shops and delicious ice cream parlours along the main strip so there is no shortage of things to do locally and all within walking distance. If your feet are weary or your belly is too full after an evening out, you can also take advantage of the horse and carriages in Tsivili to deliver you safely back to the Park Hotel for a nightcap. For us, the Park, it's owner and staff really are the best, it’s like a luxury home away from home and staying there always feels like we are visiting old and very dear friends. The vibe is really relaxing for guests and the staff go out of their way to deliver the best service. The Manager is also always on hand to assist and goes above and beyond! During our recent visit there were night storms and it was the manager who made it his priority to ensure the pool was cleared of leaves/debris, it’s this pride and care for the high standard of his hotel and his guests that shines through. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Park Hotel, Tsivili for so many reasons – book it, you won’t regret it!!

“Brilliant hotel, fantastic staff, relaxing holiday!”

We have been to the Park Hotel many times in the past so this review is definitely overdue. I’ll start off by saying that there is nowhere else we would stay when visiting Zakynthos! Our experience has always been amazing and this year was no different. The management and staff don’t just run the hotel, they genuinely care about what they do and their guests. It is evident in every aspect of how the hotel operates - nothing is too much trouble! We were greeted warmly on arrival by the Owner and his reception team (Natalie & George), every time we visit the Owner has something new to show us and we always love to see the changes he has made since our last stay, he is clearly very invested in providing the best experience he can. The location is a short walk from Tsivili and the facilities are second to none. The hotel interior is very tastefully decorated with a modern yet welcoming look, full of neutral tones, tiling and the odd splash of bold green – just perfect. The rooms are spacious and the feel of the main area follows through to the bedrooms with comfortable beds, good storage, a lovely bathroom, plenty of plugs, mirrors, a fridge, tea/coffee facilities, a hairdryer and even an iron, I should also add that the air con is brilliant and the addition of a sofa is a nice touch. Hats off to the housekeeping staff who clean every room on a daily basis and change towels every two days, although it’s worth noting that if you want a change of towels at any other point during your stay, you simply need to ask. “Lovely 3rd visit to the Park Hotel”

An honest review as we have come to the hotel as a couple for the last 3 years. The hotel is lovely, clean and mostly well maintained, although a bit tired in some areas. George and Andrea on reception are both very polite, friendly and helpful and George has good banter with guests. There is now music at the pool which is great but at times it can seem a lack of atmosphere. However if you are here to relax and not interact much with other guests then this won't be an issue. The sunbeds at the pool are comfy but a little tired. It was very busy the first week so could be quite difficult to get a sunbed unless you are at the pool area before 9am. However both pools are cleaned and maintained nightly. The hotel restaurant is nice with good choice and food has always been lovely and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, chatty and helpful especially Alex, Dimitris and Lediana. They are a credit to the hotel. Photis is also great in the bar area in the evening but again there is no real atmosphere or entertainment in the hotel at night. However it is nice to sit and enjoy a quiet drink. The rooms are ok but quite basic. Nice balcony overlooking the pool. Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. Good air con, hairdryer, small fridge, tea and coffee and ironing facilities. Could be doing with larger tv's in the rooms as they are small but can live with that as watching TV is not high on the priority list while on holiday. Shower is OK but is salt water. However for the duration of our stay there was a strong smell coming from the drain in the bathroom which could be quite overpowering at times. Our only real issue is the noise of the hallways. The corridors amplify any noises with the room doors closing, suitcases being wheeled and the maid service can also be very loud in the morning. This echoes throughout the whole corridor so is hard to get a restful sleep with the doors slamming every few minutes. Be prepared to be awake from around 6/7 am. The breakfast is fine but didn't use it much. Decent variety of pastries, bacon, eggs, beans, etc. The omlette station is great and fresh but breakfast bar could be doing with more fresh fruit and fresh fruit juice selection as the machine concentrate juice is very sweet. The owner is also present at the hotel most days and is friendly and chatty. Complimentary bottle of wine due to our 3rd visit which was a nice touch. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the main strip which is great and lots of great restaurants and bars to choose from so hotel is in ideal location. Overall a nice, relaxing 2 week stay at the hotel. Thanks for having us back!
