This hotel is beautiful we’ve had a truly wonderful stay .The staff at the hotel are amazing friendly always happy to help a special shout out to Alex and Tony and Manila at the bar who are without doubt brilliant and really made our stay.The favorite club is well worth it from a amazingly comfy suite to the infinity pools which are lovely.The location is also very good.we can’t wait to come back x

“Fantastic Week”

I guess if you're reading this you're wondering, as I did, how a hotel can have such wildly differing reviews?! Just returned from a fantastic week away which we really enjoyed. We upgraded to the My Favourite Club rooms, which are set in two blocks with great sea views, and their own infinity pools, sun terraces and bar area. Never any trouble getting a sun bed at any time in this area. The room was modern with a huge walk-in shower. Cleaned and maintained to a high standard it had the best AC of any room I think I've had............ much needed! Buffet restaurant had a very nice outdoor dining area, which was a pleasant place to be. Thoroughly enjoyed all the food on offer, international and Greek dishes. Plenty of choice for lunch and dinner........ so much so, we didn't eat out, or, take advantage of the opportunity to dine in the a la carte restaurant. The standard at the buffet was excellent. Small but functional gym, which we took advantage of. Staff universally friendly and efficient. Entertainment is low-key........ usually one act on every night but decent quality from what we saw . Best suited to those who like it on the quieter side. Hotel is built into the side of a hill, so could be a challenge for those with mobility issues....... lots of steps. Not a great deal locally , couple of tavernas, bars and shops. Tsilivi is around 3km away, but no paths so not a walk for the faint-hearted! Taxis and bus service will easily take you there if you need to get out and about. Only real criticism I could make was of the AI drinks..... Zorba's beer and local spirits. Not the best quality............ but this seems to be the norm in Greek AI. On the plus side however, best wine we've had in an AI so it has its good points! In summary an excellent hotel with stunning views. Very much on the quieter side, which suited us down to the ground. Will return.

We stayed for a week with no MFC extras and had a really great stay. Get up early and reserve your sun lounger. Limited brollys for shade but three have a large shaded chill out section and pool loungers. Very luxurious setting and stunning sun rise and sun set. The hotel was clean, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the day time activities were great fun and got us trying new things (shoutout to Roxanna and Miguel who made our stay!!). The pool bar restaurant was great - nice fresh food. I would recommend the pork souvlaki. The buffet food had a great salad bar but the main food was just ok for me, my partner liked the food! They had a microwave so you can heat the food to your liking. Salad bar was great and they had lots of fresh fruits and a grill section which had freshly cooked meat if you timed it right. I would suggest the buffet introduce a cooked fresh section. For example an omelette station for breakfast and a pasta station for lunch and dinner time. This would majorly improve the food having hot and fresh options. Meat options were cheap and watered down alcohol (I guess this is to be expected from all inclusive to make profit??). The hotel location is a little out the way but scooters and quads can be hired. Lots of excursions would recommend the turtle island excursion with Abba tours. Take your swimwear and get in the sea it is beautiful and refreshing. Small beach at the bottom of the hotel but a larger beach is a 25min walk away. Overall a great stay 8/10

Just had 4 lovely nights here for our first anniversary. We booked the my favourite club rooms, there were 2 pools overlooking the Ionian see, stunning views. Just had 4 lovely nights here for our first anniversary. We booked the my favourite club rooms, there were 2 pools overlooking the Ionian see, stunning views. Room had everything needed, comfortable bed and pillows, balcony with awesome view. All staff were friendly, I'm useless with names but a special shout out to our main bar man at the my favourite pool bar, lovely welcome and chat daily, always smiling. Some banter with his manager who said he had a button to press to make them smile lol. Also to The singing barmaid in the lounge bar, she will know who she is, great humour from all. Plus they did their own version of Tia Maria, brandy, baileys that was all inclusive, a lot of ai don't include these, happy wife, happy life lol. Thanks to the chefs who kept the fab food coming, mexican themed night was lush food, breakfast great daily. La Nubium a la carte restaurant you can use nightly when booked mfc, menu doesn't change but good variety, service was spot on, banter with the head waiter there, great atmosphere. Thank you room service for all the hard work you do, room was tidied daily. Thanks to reception team who sort any requests they can. Only negative is the amount of external stairs from top to bottom. Some were complaining that bottled water is not supplied free but there are water stations throughout hotel that you can fill your bottle from. Overall we had a fab, chilled, 4 nights. Felt looked after, staff greeted you and checked all ok regular, friendly team that made the difference. Didn't do late check as there's a Shower room to change before flight but floor very slippery so be careful.
