We have been visiting this hotel since 2015. A beautiful hotel in lovely grounds in a very good position for both the beach and restaurants and bars. Staff in every role do a brilliant job and are all very friendly and ensure you enjoy your stay. Restaurant service and food is excellent. All areas are kept extremely clean. Our room was cleaned to a excellent standard every morning. Bar service during the day and night was excellent and always served by very friendly staff. Really can't fault this hotel and look forward to returning in 2025.

We had a really lovely stay. All the staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel itself is really pretty and clean. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a jacuzzi suite half way through our stay, and having the private pool felt so luxurious. The food was consistently good with a fair amount of variety even for a Pescetarian, and we thought the fresh additions (like churros, crepes and omelettes) being made in front of you at each meal was a great extra touch. The most pleasant surprise for us was the live music every few nights; they were all genuinely brilliant! We expected the evenings to be relatively quiet with no typical entertainment (which we were deliberately avoiding!) but there was a relaxed but lovely atmosphere every night with lots of guests at the bar and on the terrace playing table games. The second half of our stay fell into October and it did start to feel a bit quieter but certainly not dead, and that’s to be expected towards the end of the season. The only improvement for us would be the quality of the all inclusive drinks, but there was enough selection that we could always find something drinkable. The area is fine for what we wanted, as we were mostly looking to stay at the hotel anyway. On our final night we went for a meal at Zakanthi on the main strip and would definitely recommend it. Thank you for such a lovely relaxing break and making us feel so special and taken care of.

We are currently here enjoying the lovely pool and sunbed in what feels like 30 degree heat. It’s been one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve ever had as a couple which I would group this hotel as. Food is great, we tend to eat out in the evenings as we like to get out of the hotel but what we have had has been nice. There is pool bar and snack bar from 12-6pm. The food is absolutely spot on for a snack bar. We recommend the salads and carbonara. The drinks are ok, and are probably our only “ issue” but the beer and wine is drinkable. I would recommend being savvy with spirits here as portions are very generous! There is a safe in the room-free, lovely balcony’s with privacy if you ask for it. We were on the 3rd floor behind some lovely tree and flowers but still our balcony got some shade and sun. The hotel has water filters where you can get cold water. We tended to fill our bottles up rather than lug litres of the water in the heart from the shop but either way you will be fine. For first timers there is a shop a very short walk away that sells everything you need. The restaurants and bars are all lovely but now is very limited as a lot are closing now it’s end of season. Entertainment in the hotel is almost non existent but the one time we did hear some music it was amazing. A lot of Dutch and English people here are everyone is very friendly and happy. I would say there is something very calming and good for the soul about this place and value for money is excellent Olive tree restaurant was for us by the best but they are all good. We have been here for 10days and have had one day where there was some cloud but it’s been very warm. I’d recommend maybe coming the beginning of October so you have the relaxation but also options for trips, food places and bars I’ll definitely be coming back! Oh and it’s literally next door to the airport and was £15 euros in a taxi! Book it 😊

“First time to Kalamaki”

Went to the bitzaro grande hotel on 17th September for 10 nights, two couples. Hotel is in a great position, five minutes from Kalamaki strip and five minutes the other way to the beach. Room was kept very clean, spacious, could do with more draw space. Pool area was nice, cushions on sun beds were left out overnight, this meant they all were wet, first thing in the morning. If you had wanted a bed by the pools front row, you would need to get your towels on beds by 7 to 7.30 at the latest. Then some of the people didn't turn up until 12ish. No staff did anything about empty beds all morning with towels on. I found all staff to be very helpful and Friendly, other than the one customer service staff member who told my husband he could drink water, as they didn't supply any gluten free beers or cider as he is a coeliac. Paid all Inclusive to be told to drink water. Had to go to the supermarket to buy him cider and go out most evening for the same reason. Food was nice, always at an edible temperature, could have had a better variety of fruit, and cereal. But didn't spoil the holiday. Again, restaurant, snack bar staff were excellent. Will go back to Kalamaki, thoroughly enjoyed.
