I just finishing a 2 week holiday here. Small apartment block set on 3 floors. The rooms are ore than adequate, good size, comfortable and very clean. There is little kitchenette area, which I only used to make coffee. Excellent air conditioning and safe at no extra cost. Beds are comfortable. The beds are made and room cleaned every day. The only comment i have to make is be careful when taking a shower, the water is very hot and i could not get ii to turn cooler. I had to let the tap run until it cooled down. The pool area is lovely and clean with soft padded sunbeds. Never had a day when I couldn't get one. The pool is warm, due to the hot weather and the water clear. Excellent for a refreshing dip. I would say it is more suitable for adults. There is no pool bar or restaurant. It is very quiet, which suited me. A short flat walk to a couple of supermarkets and restaurants. Koukounaries beach is a 10 min walk away. This is the best beach I have been to. Sand soft and the waters clear and warm. Sunbeds cost approx €17.50 for the day and very comfortable. You get the water taxi to Skiathos town from there. Loads of water sports. Does get busy, but that did not deter me. Buses to and from Skiathos seem to run every 15 mins. All in all I cannot praise these apartments or the staff enough.

We spent just 4 nights on a short break at these studios. We requested a studio on a higher level, if possible, and were given the first floor facing the road, with views across the lake. The studio was basic in typical Greek style but was well maintained with a comfortable bed and had everything we needed….even a travel sized hairdryer had been left for us. The price included Wi-Fi, safe and air conditioning. The couple managing the apartments, Lois and Diana (and their little son) were always available if needed. There is a small swimming pool surrounded by very comfortable sun beds. The studios are very well located within easy walking distance of the lake and several beaches, as well as a number of lovely bars and tavernas. There are a couple of small supermarkets close by. Across the road is the bus stop for Skiathos town, running every 15 minutes and stopping at several resorts on the way. There is also a water taxi from the main beach. These studios are perfect for a relaxing break in pretty surroundings.

“Lake Hotel/Studios - not the best start”

Arrived late evening to a dark reception. Eventually found bell to alert owner who lives in bungalow in garden. Arrived late evening to a dark reception. Eventually found bell to alert owner who lives in bungalow in garden. He was pleasant enough (hardly any English spoken) - no welcome greeting but was immediately ushered into his office to pay local tax (luckily I knew about this and had sufficient euros in change to pay but felt this could have waited until following morning!) Taken to cave-like apartment on lower ground floor where top of terrace wall is at ground level!! Next morning's view was of main road about 50m away across front garden. BE AWARE the lake itself is the other side of main road so can only be seen from 1st & 2nd floor apartments!! HAPPILY, a day later, I was able to change apartment to a large, bright bungalow studio in back garden, with view of gardens and pristine pool (plenty of comfortable sunbeds) courtesy of very helpful Jet2 rep (Polina) who made a quick call. Otherwise... everything spotlessly clean; studios cleaned & bed made daily and towels changed every 2 days. Owner & wife running the place are very pleasant but, surprisingly with a majority of English clientele, seem to have very little grasp of English language, so be prepared to use Google Translate - it worked for me! I wish my Greek was better.

“Good value for the money”

Basic but it's what to expect for what u pay , nice lake over the road and then beach at the other side of the lake , bus is stop nearby to the town , bus is regular and takes about 25 minutes. Only downfall about our room was it had two single beds and not a double bed .
