We had a great stay at IKIES Santorini in May 2024. We stayed in the Winemaker’s Suite. The suite was spacious and included a living area and a sleeping area. The bathroom was large enough for 2 people to share comfortably and the steam room adjacent to the shower was a treat. As with several other suites at IKIES, ours had a private patio with a hot tub and furniture for sunning and eating. The view from the patio was so beautiful- almost beyond compare. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Whomever was handling reception made a point to say hello to us each time we passed by and asked if they could be of assistance. Breakfast was delivered to our patio each morning per the order we put in the day before. But the stars of the show were the bellmen who carried our luggage up and down the stairs upon arrival and departure. I was beyond impressed as I watched the bellman carry our 3 - 30 pound suitcases and 2 backpacks up the stairs in one trip before we checked out of the hotel. There’s a mostly paved/cobblestone path that connects IKIES (and other resorts) with Oia Town. It’s about a 10 minute walk along the cobblestones until you’ll reach the eastern end of Oia Town (and the paved area lined with shops, restaurants and hotels). It’s another 5-10 minutes walk to the center of town where there are more restaurants and shops along a maze of narrow streets. First time visitors to Santorini should be aware that there are a lot of stairs on the island. It can be challenging for some and exhilarating for others. For example, at IKIES, there are 40 stairs between the cobblestone path and reception and 40 more stairs from reception to the Winemaker’s Suite. The stairs have a tacky/gritty surface so they are not slippery when wet and there are handrails (or equivalent) adjacent to most of the staircase. Despite all of my gray hair, I found the stairs to be exhilarating! I highly recommend IKIES if you’re planning a visit to Oia in Santorini and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

A perfect place to stay while visiting Santorini. Very nice and elegant structure, extremely well kept and managed by very kind staff. A perfect place to stay while visiting Santorini. Very nice and elegant structure, extremely well kept and managed by very kind staff. You will enjoy a fantastic view from your private terrace after you relaxed in you private Jacuzzi. Also the location is perfect, at a walking distance from the Oia centre. It is not cheap but the money you spend are absolutely worth. Come to Ikies and enjoy Santorini at the top.

Loved our stay at Ikies Santorini. Katerina was our excellent host and met us at arrival and took care of all our questions and needs including recommended things to do (like Santo Winery etc.). The room had a deck with a hot tub and steam bath in our room. Fantastic views and people carried our luggage all the way to our room. Very good location (away from crowds but a short walk into town and restaurants). Would absolutely stay here again.

Had a short stay at Ikies and the experiences were amazing! The hotel is located on the outskirts of Oia, which is precisely where you want to be in Santorini. You are walking distance from the attractions but also get to stay away from the bustling. The terrace we had also provided an amazing, private view. The hotel staff were very responsive throughout our stay as well. The only reason this is only 4 star is because the appliances in our room werent working that well: the fridge was not cooling, the AC was also malfunctioning a bit.
