This is our 3rd visit to Santorini but first stay in Oia . We booked this hotel for 5 people who wanted to be close enough to Oia but not in the middle of the madness. Also the price was excellent value . I wasn't disappointed it was perfect . The welcome was usual as we were lucky enough to travel and not to have our holiday cancelled during the covid crises . All safety measures in place , temp taken on arrival. the rooms were huge and we had fridge and air conditioning if you needed it. No kettle or hairdryer but Id brought my own. The owners and staff were great and I felt that you could ask for anything . They had a good sense of humor as well. the pool was cleaned on a regular basis During they day the pool was empty and it felt like a private villa with waiter service. If you want 5 star Luxury this isn't the place for it . book one of the places around Ether .If you want authentic and lovely staff this is your one. Would definitely stay here again should we return to Oia. Thank you for looking after us and making us feel welcome

Its a good hotel and good price!No TV in the room if you dont care!Well you are there for vacation anyway why stay in the room when Oia Center is just walking distance.Its walking distance to Oia Village and you can make a shortcut instead of taking the other way you can take the way going to Oia Center.The owner is nice ,and since he is Greek so expect that he may be sound arrogant but he is not thats the Greek Way.His wife Ether is welcoming,she speaks few English.They change the bed everyday and they dont usually put new shampoo so I have to buy my own shampoo but maybe because I didnt ask.For tours you can go to NTS travel agency its walking distance .If you want to go on tour you can book the day before and you can alao book your airport transfers for 30 Euro.And they will Pick you up even 4am in the morning.The room has an excellent view and you can watch sunset from your room and you dont need to go to Oia Village to watch for it.There is a bakery that I love the bread.NTS agency is besides bus terminal and walk few meters then you can find the bakeshop besides the grocery stores.Ate at Thai restaurants and lots of restaurants nearby.Its safe in there even its 1 am you can go walking with no problem .Just bring flashlights to use if you are going to take the shortcut coz the path is made of stones intended for Donkeys so its easy for them to walk.During the day tour the tour guide says that they dont have a correct address or GPS doesnt work and the mailman knows all the people by name when they receive letters.I like the toilet of the hotel but I dont like the design coz the floor will get wet wheb you are taking shower.They have small ref inside the room.I will still stay here if ever im coming back to Santorini.They have a coffee and tea pot so you can just buy coffee from the stores and bring it back to your room.This is not good for elderly people who has problems with walking unless they have a car!

You can enjoy it at comfort of the patio outside your room, by the pool or anywhere around the hotel. When everyone is rushing to find a place to view the sunset. We enjoyed it at comfort of the patio outside our room, by the pool, really anywhere around the hotel. Sophia, the receptionist/concierge/server is beyond helpful. She can take care everything pretty much for you. From wine tasting reservation, car rental and even application for international drivers license. We decided to rent a car (glad we took Mr Tukiss advice.) She helped my husband got an international drivers license on-line in less than an hour. And even arranged the car dropped to the hotel. She is definitely made for the business! I can see her running her own place. Mr. Tukiss (hope i spelled it right) the owner gave us several helpful tips and Margarita is very helpful also. The hotel is simple but comfortable and clean. No full service restaurant nor bar but Margarita can fix you something. The hotel is not far from center of Oia and Ammoudi Bay. Good place. Really good people!

My wife and 20 month old daughter visited Ether Studios in October 2019. The hotel offered to collect us from the airport for 35 euros which was a nice way to start our holiday. The room we had was very large with 2 single beds and a double bed. We did ask for a cot for our daughter but this never materialised. The lady on reception doesn't speak English very well but she is as helpful as she can be. The pool is great. The first day we arrived there was a lot of dead bugs and flies floating around which did put me off letting my daughter play in it but the next day a cleaning device arrived which soon sorted the problem. The hotel is very close to Oia centre but the walk is up some steep hills which with a pram was a bit of a challenge but we knew that before we went and it wasn't that bad. The view we had from our terrace was out of this world. Totally unobstructed views of the sunset every night. We almost didn't want to move most nights watching it. The room had a fridge and the air con was good. The lack of a safe was a concern which meant we ended up taking most of our valuables out with us all the time.
