We stayed for 8 nights during September 2024. Rooms are basic though spacious and comfortable with a balcony off the main bedroom The staff throughout are all friendly and excellent. In particular the staff in the adjacent Bar and restaurant are always smiling and helpful. The associated beach and beds were easily accessible with no problem to get one at anytime The hotel is midway along the front of Kamari giving excellent easy access to all nearby restaurants and bars All in all a great value for money hotel

We have just returned from a fabulous week at the Levante Beach Hotel, it’s an absolute gem! The staff are amazing, so friendly & helpful. Although only a 2*, it was more than sufficient for our needs. We had room 244 which has a pool view (& partial sea view) Rooms are traditional Greek style, spotlessly clean & a good size. Bed was comfy, sheets & towels clean & bright white too. The TV had a couple of English channels, the fridge also had a small freezer compartment & the mini market next door sells small bags of ice! The balcony had a table & 2 directors chairs. Reception lent us a kettle free of charge. The bathroom is older style but again super clean, plenty of hot water. The shower is small but we managed with no problems. The pool area is clean, plenty of sunbeds, again older style but comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, as you would expect in Greece, cold meats, cheese, hard boiled eggs, bread, yogurt etc, plentiful amounts & very fresh. The location could not have been better, the pool leads to the beach bar & restaurant (guests get 10% discount) which is on the sea front. Beach sunbeds are free of charge when buying food & drink from the bar. The food was fine there too. The back entrance of the hotel is a 30 second walk to the shop’s & restaurants in the village square. If you are looking for a value for money hotel in Kamari in the best location this is it! Would happily return to this hotel T

“Well placed, nice place.”

Well run by very nice, smiling, people. Well located on the seafront and 50 m from the main street. Three televisions, which can show different football games! I have been coming to Kamari for several years and this is the hotel I have settled on.

We arrived very late in the evening, just a short private transfer from the airport, around 10 minutes. The reception is not 24 hours, but as they were aware of our arrival time they waited onsite for us and showed us to our room before taking us to the attached beach promenade bar for a welcome drink. Very appreciate gesture during this hot summer night! The rooms are relatively small and are still decorated and furnished in a classic / almost retro style. Probably the last of its kind along this resort. However, despite their age appearance, they have been very well maintained, which seems to be the case throughout the hotel. The room has air conditioning, a small balcony or small terrace area if on the ground floors, plug sockets and a small TV. The main downside and what i've seen others comment on too is the bathrooms. They are small, but the shower tray is even smaller with just a curtain. Water just goes everywhere and it would probably be better to convert these into wet rooms. The location is brilliant for holiday makers. Approx 10 minute direct drive between the airport and right beside all of the resorts amenities, shops, bars and food areas. On one side of the hotel you have access taking you straight to the main shopping areas of Kamari as well as the roads. On the other side you have the hotels own beach bar and restaurant. It leading out to the beach promenade with so many more choices to eat and drink. On from this you ofcourse have the beach. All the establishments include the hotel has their own sunbed areas. Almost all are "free" to use, but you'll atleast need to purchase a food or drink item at their establishment. Although obviously a cost, its a much better concept than paying for the sunbeds themselves. Further along the beach towards the airport itself theres much more open areas for you to get more space and use your own towels etc on the sand if you prefer. Most of the beaches in santorini are stone or shingles, so getting in and out of the sea without footwear can be painful. As its so close to the airport you will hear some aeroplane noise. Its not a hugely busy airport though and most of the time its under the landing path, so mich quieter. Infact most people enjoy it and add it as part of the fun! The breakfast was basic but a nice option, especially as its complimentary for all. There are cereals, museli, dairy milk, sliced bread, cold cut sliced meats and cheeses, cut fruit, plus tea, coffee and juice. It has a lovely view across the sea and you can watch the aeroplanes come into land with your breakfast. The amenities onsite include a pool with a limited amount of sunbeds, the beach bar restaurant as previously mentioned - who do a lovely Greek Salad and cocktails - you get 10% off here being part of the hotel, plus shower and toilet facilities that came in very useful for our late flight home. The staff we came into contact with were all lovely. Especially team on the beach and the young lady on reception. She was always up for a chat, asking how our holiday was and had some great tips on what to do and where to visit. Apologies i didn't catch her name, but if you stay here, you'll know who i mean. Overall i'd definitely recommend staying here, especially if you get it for a good deal. If you want a great location, helpful staff and are not too fussed about too many luxuries, then this is the place for you to base your stay in Santorini / Kamari from.
