“Unbelievable view of the caldera”
Can't beat the view from Hotel Kavalari! I enjoyed sketching on the landing outside my room-even ordered takeout grilled octopus and Greek salad so i could keep enjoying the view while i ate. “Kavalari experience”
This hotel have a really good position in the Caldera. All the time you can see the incredible view over the sea, the volcano, some cities and of course the sunset. My room was located downstair, at the bottom so this means a lot of stairs to use but I like this. It's a sport time ! Mostly if like … more

“Middle of the pack accomodations”
Be prepared for many steps as is normal in Thira. Staff was pleasant although not always available or very helpful. Rooms were adequate in size. Not the cleanest in my opinion. The shower was very dirty. The breakfast got monotonous after two days. Location is very good and views are great.
