I booked this for mine and my husbands 10th wedding anniversary- with him not knowing anything about it until the day we flew! I am so glad we chose this hotel. Not only does it have amazing views over the caldera, it is clean, well kept and the staff are brilliant. We were told how to get around the island. Places to visit, what to see etc. they really can’t do enough for you. We booked a junior suite and we were very impressed. It was cleaned every day, and anything you needed you just had to ask. Breakfast was delicious - lots of variety and you could also order omelette made to order which we did every day! Drinks and service are great. The bar men are again brilliant, knew after day 1 what we both drank! And we sampled some delicious cocktails! Would I return? Absolutely I would go back tomorrow! Beautiful island and fantastic hotel you certainly won’t go far wrong with Andromeda. Thank you for having us we loved every minute 😌🇬🇷

“Stunning!”

Fabulous hotel!! It’s quiet & stunning. Best place to stay. Lovely restaurants nearby & lovely views unobstructed views. We stayed in the premium room with pool & had breakfast served on the terrace. Cannot be faulted, beautiful. All the hotels are joined so easy to walk places but buses are easy… more

This one is a tough review to write. The hotel is located on a cliff overlooking the caldera and words can't really describe the beautiful of the view. Also, some of the best service I have ever received, very personal, very empathetic and wanting to know what we wanted to help us as best as possible. Demetrios and Eleni I would hire at any 5 Star hotel around the world. Here is the downside. Stairs, Room quality and Restaurant. Stairs. Lots and lots of stairs. If you have problems walking, you will have a problem with Santorini in general and definitely this hotel. Even with the elevators, you still have several flights to walk to the main pool, bar, reception and restaurant. We are an active family so we enjoyed the 8 wandering flights of stairs from the reception up to the street. Stairs are tight, somewhat uneven, but all are outside, so you are distracted by the amazing view. The hotel, like most of Santorini is a strange puzzle of rooms scattered across the cliff face with ups and downs and arounds. Plus, all the hotels are physically connected, so you may end up accidentally in a different hotel. Or the main hiking path from town to town may be at your front door. Or you could be tucked back in a cave. Totally haphazard and fun - but a challenge for mobility impaired. We rented a very expensive villa. which is a two story room with a loft. There is a main room with kitchenette and table. Stairs up to loft bed and another bedroom with doors to the back. Small, dark bathroom. Hard, uncomfortable bed. There are probably better rooms, but we drew the unlucky card. There is only one AirCond, a 'Split' (device on the wall the sprays the cold air). It is upstairs so the loft is acceptable temp, the kitchen is good, but the master bedroom is uncomfortably hot. Remember, this is Santorini, so it's hot (30C/90F or more). We struggled to sleep. We ate at the main restaurant which is quite fancy, and of course, has amazing views. The meal was super fancy, Michelin style (dibs of this, dabs of that, with foaming stuff, etc). We had appetizers and 3 mains and were uniformly bored. It was all beautiful presentation, but the food, we simply didn't finish. Not bad food, just...uninteresting to eat, but nice to look at. Unfortunately the most expensive meal we ate in all of Europe. Better choice - get a Greek Salad or Burger or Chicken at the pool bar. Same amazing view, really good service (the bartenders are great) and semi-reasonable price. Grumpy old guy vote - We will be back to Santorini, but not this hotel.
