My husband and myself spent a happy week recently at your hotel . We would have liked a balcony that we could have used as our tiny space outside room 535 had the air-conditioned conditioning unit in it The pool was really small. On the plus side, the staff were very helpful and smartly dressed big thanks to John the porter a smile for everyone. Overall, it's not bad at hotel.

Very nice hotel with wide selection of restaurants nearby Room very clean as others say the staff are excellent Not sure about status of4 star however The bar area is in need of an upgrade As others have said the noise from closing doors is an issue but guess as they are fire doors not simple to address. Could hear neighbour rooms and incessant chair’s furniture being moved The toiletries are at height level so if you are in the bath you have to stand up to get shampoo etc as they can’t be unscrewed should be the smaller bottles Biggest bugbear was the pool sun beds if you are not there by 10 1030 little chance with many having towels on beds by 915 and some selfish people turning up after midday which is very frustrating we often saw people having to walk away as none available Food was fine at breakfast with usual selection Complimentary room bar with tea coffee good The insitu hairdryer in the room is like something out of the 1950’s. I’m sure the Mitsis empire can provide hand held ones Prices in bar very reasonable

“Enjoyed our stay!”

Nice hotel, needs updating. The staff were good, the food was good. The pool area was small but could could usually find a seat. The pool area also had a little ice cream area to help yourself to! Perfect location. We were close enough to walk to everywhere we need. I.e old town/beach/boat trips.... more

Nice hotel, needs updating. The staff were good, the food was good. The pool area was small but could could usually find a seat. The pool area also had a little ice cream area to help yourself to! Perfect location. We were close enough to walk to everywhere we need. I.e old town/beach/boat trips. Bring a hair dryer with you as they are no good there! Also they don't provide an iron for you to use, only ironing service so when we found this out, they weren't able to get our outfits ironed in time (although they did try) as it's a 24hr service and we had to go to dinner with untidy clothes! There was entertainment every night. We had a late evening flight and check out of room was 12pm but we were able to use our all inclusive up until the time we got picked up and a 30 min slot for a room to use to freshen up with a shower etc. Had a good stay!

As with everyone we cannot compliment the staff enough. We opted for b&b to allow us to enjoy the Greek food in the town. We were welcomed with a beautiful cake and wine on arriving at our room. All the comments on the pool are correct. Inconsiderate people holding beds with towels and not being around for hours. The pool loses the sun around 3:30 unless you are gathered by the seating area. The pool is tiny so if you like to do a few lengths this is not the place for you. The hotel itself is very dated and the air con in the rooms throws out some dubious smells at times. Take your own hairdryer unless you want to burn your hands and frazzle your hair. The location of the hotel is great for restaurants and the sports bar across the road has a great atmosphere. Breakfast was ok not the best I have ever had. Big lines for the omelettes which I could never be bothered to wait for. Us British like our toast but to get any colour I had to toast the bread 4 times to resemble any colour. Maybe I should have done shuttles to the toaster while waiting for an omelette. That said we had a lovely time on our 4 night stay. We chose the hotel for the location and the fact it had a pool. I wouldn’t return here but just because it needs an overhaul and no reflection on the hard working people who run the place.

First things first, the standout for this hotel is the staff, absolutely amazing, they are so friendly, warm, inviting, personable. So helpful, Maria on reception and another who's name I couldn't pronounce ( my bad for not asking), I felt like for the week i was there that we were friends, that's how lovely and engaging they are. I wish them all the success in the world. They deserve recognition for their tireless work ethic. Phenomenal. Ok so now for the usual stuff, the hotel itself is a little dated, not enough sockets in the room, the pillows as usual like sandbags, I didn't sleep too good the entire time, the shower was lukewarm if went in after 6.30pm. Aside from a few niggles this did not alter my stay, the vicinity from hotel to the beach is amazing, literally step out and walk ahead 2 mins and you're there. I preferred walking right on the beach to the end sunbeds, so relaxing and these are more spaced out, although pricey at 15 euros for a pair. I actually put a towel on the beach, shingles so it's not bad at all and you'll find a lot more people opt for this. You can lie right by the water. The hotel pool although lovely and clean, the position for the sun in a morning wasn't the best, most were in the shade. The best place was closer to the bar on the right but later in the day that was slim pickings as then the sun moved behind the building. So I preferred the beach but came back at teatime for a beer by the pool. I didn't venture into many bars although the sports bar opposite the hotel was my favourite and a large beer costing 4.20 euros compared to the expensive 4 euros for a small beer at the hotel, this irked me. The staff at the arena sports bar are the nicest. They chat to you throughout if you like that, and not just to get you to come in like other places. The atmosphere is good and it's big. The food at the hotel is plentiful, buffet style of array of salad stuffs, middle section was more main meal things, moussaka, vegetables, a chef making different dishes every night, some I wasn't too keen on because they didn't cook meats enough for me, but that's just my preference. A big shout out to the pizza chef, everyday, lunch and dinner he's there cooking up a storm. I'm a big pizza lover and honestly these are without doubt the best pizzas I've ever had. Light crispy base and various yummy toppings and he'll even show you how he likes them, he'll drizzle oil on the pizza and scatter herbs on. He's a character and really lifts the dining room up. The waiting staff don't stop, constantly topping up drinks, asking if you want anything. They work so hard and supr friendly. Adonis was my favourite, a young lad that was chatty and warm with me everyday and everytime I saw him. The big downside for me was the bar area, it lacked presence, uninviting and small, the entertainment every night was at the bottom of the small bar, so they would pull chairs in into the lobby area which is where the bar is offset. I never bothered. Just didn't do it for me. Strange location. There's a smoking area off the bar with tables and chairs and some ventilation to the outside in the ceiling. Good for the smokers I suppose. Just off that is a tiny area outside with a couple of tables and chairs, a little pretty garden area. One thing I didn't like was the slippy pavement infront of the hotel, there were mats down and slip signage but I still fell as did a few others as the week went on. They have some sort of leak issue. I did hurt self a bit but the amazing staff were really attentive. I upgraded to all inclusive because of the drink prices there thinking it's worth it because 2 pina coladas a day was the same. They weren't included in the all inclusive. I wasn't too impressed. I didn't like the other cocktails. They need to sort that out. I don't drink many things so it was 2 or 3 beers a day. I must mention the road the hotel is on does get busy and road noise is a slight issue, late night bikes and cars zooming about. Ear plugs help with this. Rhodes old town is out ahead and turn right, a walk of about 15/20 mins, beautiful place. We did Lindos boat trip from there, the 60 mon fast boat, good fun and 4 hours in Lindos, walk up to the acropolis, worth a look. Boat trip 39 euros each and entry to acropolis 12 euros, bit steep I thought. Amazing place though. There is an acropolis about 40 mins walk from the hotel which is free, worth a gander. Bike hire opposite hotel, 15 euros for a decent hybrid bike for the day, 15 miles ride to butterfly valley, although wrong time for the thousands of butterflies when we were there, larva stage. There were a few and it's a lovely place. The food there in the cafe was the best I had all holiday. Good value too. You can actually get a trip to the place but we wanted to hire bikes. Be warned the hotel tax had almost doubled, it cost us 56 euros each for 8 days. I think a few were shocked as was I. All in all, it's a lovely place, it needs some tweeks. Alter the bar area, entertainment etc. Its just not that nice. Bit dismal. I can't say don't stay here given the few negatives. I probably would come back after I found my feet, it's the fact you're made to feel so at home for me. Well done to all the staff 👏
