Firstly, a big thank you to Manolis, the hotel manager who is a true gent, nothing is too much trouble, very helpful during our stay. He is appreciated by his staff who speak highly of him. Similarly his reception staff are of the same mould. Many of the staff have been at the hotel for years which speaks volumes. After a delayed Jet2 flight from Leeds Bradford and arrived at the hotel in the early hours, Manolis was covering the night shift. He had acknowledged my email request and had my selected sea view room ready and waiting. We arrived on Thursday prior to the Orthodox Church Good Friday so had lots of questions for Manolis about the Easter celebrations and where best to see events. Very helpful. The hotel is very clean, along with the rooms which also have a free safe. Our room had recently been redecorated, very clean. The only problem was the rooms free international calls were not working which was a problem with the network provider and out of the hotels control. Beachbeds are available outside the front of the hotel at €15 all day for 2 beds and parasol.The hotel also caters for those on the beach for drinks and eats.The hotel pool area is small and surounded by a 5 story building so has shaded areas as the sun moves overhead. The main gripe was inconsiderate ignorant people leaving towels on a limited number of beds and the going missing for most of the day. The hotel has sea views looking east with views down to the harbour area. We opted for the view looking west which is further from the beach but gets the afternoon sun then the sunset. Our vist was 2 -16 June which was pleasant during the day when we were out walking, no rain but the wind which was constant from a westerly direction was cold and cooled the temperature in the evenings. Too cold to sit out on the balcony in the evening in light clothing. Even the bar and restaurant welcomers were wearing quilted body warmers. I was expecting it to be a little warmer in the evenings. It is worth doing some research on what type of restaurant you prefer. It is worth the effort to locate restaurants off the beaten track, definitely cheaper and much better quality. Bear in mind it is a cruise ship port of call at the north of the isle directly outside the Medieval Town, ships docking most days. We took the local bus down to Lindos for the day from the main bus station and I would advise going early in the morning to ensure a seat. Some who started at 11am had to stand for most of the way A good tip for the return is to get a ticket from the kiosk and queue to get on the middle door of the bus and not go to the front door when the bus arrives.Comfortable, with WiFI pay on entry but cash only at €5 each way. We visited more villages on route to Lindos and the bus was quicker on the return journey to Rhodes old town. Enjoyed a Shisha at Mevlana Pub in Medieval town, Hercules the owner gave us a full explanation to get the best experience. Only problem was his card machine was never working so needed cash. Lovely really old building with antiques in the back room, and served Turkish tea also reasonable priced beer. Overal I thought the restaurants were a little expensive and beers mainly €4.5 -5.5. We enjoyed the hotel and Rhodes Meidieval Town but maybe try another island for next holiday.

“Spot on and spotless”

Just had a week here and we can only find 2 minor faults. One was the pool, which was the ridiculously small pool for the size of the hotel. The other was the aircon which was sparadic. In reality, the sea is across the road but sunbed hire is 15 euros. Enough of the negative, this hotel has fantastic staff who do all they can to help. We originally we going to do B&B but for another £50 each we went half board. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent (although you’ll always find someone who expects Michelin star on a budget). Rooms and the whole hotel was spotless. Ideally located between new and old town. Bit disappointed about the lack of live music in the resort but lots of tavernas and bars to suit all tastes. Would definitely return to this hotel.

+ welcome bucket in the room with drinking water when arriving is nice, but water supply only once ;cleanness and location; breakfast with many choices; dinner is ok regarding choices and variety; room with international channels is big plus; hard-working personals at restaurant - eating breakfast is almost a torture due to noise and cloudy, and stressed staffs go around your table. Water for shower in the room has no pressure at all. Could be helpful if the reception has extra services such as booking a guided tour, chairs for the beach
